That's handy stuff. I currently am doing sorta the same with Zello, I have a radio connected here at the shack to a pc running Zello gateway, when there is a regional warning it will announce the details transmitting it to my repeater in town (remote link). I have found it to be a useful feature for my repeater that mostly sits just telling the time every hour lol. Great video.

Thanks Joe! I am working on a new video for a new add-on feature called SkyWarn Plus. It has a few more features and a better sounding voice. Coming Soon to a TH-cam near you.

Thanks for all your help with the Supermon2 installation and configuration. I’ve been using AllStar for years, but failed to update to Supermon2 when it became available. My thanks goes out to Doug WA3DSP for his work on Supermon2 and David W4FXC for all the hard work and effort on HamVoip!

Just started following you on TH-cam. Great content. I’m a little unsure about playing with the Clearnode, but I may try the Skywarn add-on. It looks simple enough.

Thanks for the comment man! I have not yet played with the Clearnode yet. I wanted to build it myself and they don't allow that. But still may get one in the future. The SkyWarn addon is the FO-SHIZZLE! It's really surprises me when bad weather approaches and I am not thinking about it, It will sound off and give a quick reminder.

Very cool! I've not gotten into the AllStar/HamVoIP side of things, but storm chasing is my other hobby, and this makes me want to incorporate weather alerting into some of my other projects!

first off just wanted to say your videos have helped me out a lot, I'm a newer ham. I've added auto sky and double checked the code for the county i wanted but I keep getting Richboro, PA. Am I doing something incorrect perhaps?

Just an update, I figured out that the county code is entered correctly and autosky was configured right but supermon displays the wrong location

Since this video I have done another on SkyWarn Plus you should consider as well. It’s a little more robust.

Found your SkywarnPlus videos before this one. Is there an advantage to having both on the node?

Actually I disabled AutoSkywarn to run SkywarnPlus. SWP has many more and flexible features.

I do not get the whistle after 4 minutes after boot

That is part of AutoSkywarn alerting that there is a change of status and then announcing it

I use SkyWarn Plus now. It's a little more feature rich. I have a few videos about it

I just installed Autosky Skywarn on Allstar Hamvoip with Supermon 7.4+, and I don’t have any relative text on my Supermon GUI page where my nodes are displayed. I double checked the config, and it is exactly in line with the video. Is there a conflict with version 7.4+ Supermon?
