I couldn't get stuff to work until I found your videos. And hotspotradios had a working hamvoip. But ASL3 solves all the history, stale links and frustrating learning curve. I've happily made the switch. 🎉

I am logged in as an admin account with administrative access, and when I try to run ~ $ sudo AllScanInstallUpdate.php it says sudo: AllScanInstallUpdate.php: command not found When I use ls -l the file shows attributes show total 12 -rwxr-xr-x 1 admin admin 8902 Aug 16 16:11 AllScanInstallUpdate.php It will not install the file. What am I doing wrong? Victor, KB5AKO

The practice element is so helpful. I rotate between multiple devices and approaches. I had not used my FTM-100DR to send an APRS message for about 8 weeks. I struggled doing it from memory, ran in to a new issue (messages were full and it wouldn’t let me send any, and some issues with the radio switching to DN mode). This was a frustrating practice but it was a relief afterwards that I was working again and knew my equipment even better. I made a cheat sheet I can tack up in the shack.

How do you set descriptions for private nodes? so they show on Allmon3 or Supermon?

I was just setting up my radio a few minutes ago and had the same experience until I changed modes and it was passing through! They are all correct-it doesn’t do a conversion of the signal it just has to pass it through like a filter. If it’s analog, you have to set it up so it can pass through analog by choosing FM with a bar on top so it automatically chooses the mode it needs to make it work

Every one of these radios is defective. The 220 MHz bands cannot transmit due to a firmware bug

Will there be a ASL Proxy server availible. Becuzz most hams want to use AllStar node from their 5G Hotspot. Without a Proxy server or cloud server, HamvoIP, and ASL are useless when using it / mobile.

As a customer I have some suggestions, all radios should come with the manual in Portuguese, I know it can be translated, but it would be better to come in Portuguese, the Odmaster application would have to have the language in Portuguese, the radio should have the language in Portuguese and not just in English and Japanese, they had to make a video explaining all the radio menus, exemplifying each one of them to know how to use and configure...
