Kinda funny they call it "cottage" 😜 the German translation "Hütte" sounds not very appealing.. Unless you think they mean it ironically for a palace-ish building..
I've been to Berlin three times and it has a fantastic night life, rich in electronic music and a decent amount of vegan dining options. I am guessing if you were there for five days with work; maybe you didn't get to enjoy it as much as possible (given even having lived there for a few months I still felt as if there was much more to explore) but cool! It seems as if you were there during a great time of year weather-wise as well, the summers can be really hot and the winters snowy. Have fun in Amsterdam (Probably the favorite place I have visited in my limited travels to Europe so far, it has a fairy tale magical quality to it) and the rest of your traveling stops!
Thanks! I ended up staying in Berlin another 5 days to enjoy the city! I had to hit up some of the techno events and explore haha. I didn't stay in Amsterdam long, but really enjoyed my stay there and can't wait to go back! Thanks for watching 😄
Sushi is pretty popular in Germany, you find it everywhere. .. and many of them are run by Koreans or Vietnamese 😉 Genuine Japanese restaurants are rather high-priced 😜
Great job Tina!! Missing you watching your blog! I would have been very nervous, you handled it very professionally! Hope you enjoyed Berlin. It has lots of history. Would you be able to write your script by memory here? it seemed long
Thank you so much!! It really does have so much history. I enjoyed my time in Berlin a lot! I did memorize the script word by word! haha It was about 10-12 minutes long so it was quite challenging, but thankfully it went well :)
Hey Yo, Christina, What's up, girl? Long time no see, It's great to see you again. 6:19 Wow, I can't believe what I'm seeing, That's a beautiful sunset and This is a very nice building. Yeah, This building looks steady. How beautiful the world is! and How beautiful this place is! I'd like to see the world. You look really good, You have nice hair and You're a successful woman because you know what you're doing. Keep up the good work, You outdid yourself, I'm really happy for you. 🇩🇪🏢🏛️🏘️🌇🌇🥰🙂👍👏👏🤘
Hallo, Guten morgen. So you were in Deutschland/ Berlin🇩🇪 for showcasing LG products as live presenter. That's amazing. Hope you brought many people attention I prefer Samsung though 😁 By the way, I'm French 🇫🇷 10:06 That's the famous Wall of Berlin from 1989 Auf Wiedersehen
Hi Christina, great insight. The IFA is really big and you got a fantastic opportunity in Europe. My only question is, an asian make up style in that western casual outfit? Both for itself looks great, but in combination an average European might be overstrained to relate to 😬 I think your own choice would have been more techie/futuristic (and might have paired perfectly with the Berlin lifestyle)
It definitely was a really great opportunity! :) And oh, I didn't realize my makeup style doesn't look very western! I think I tend to use more natural and pink tones which may be why haha

@@ChristinaDonnelly Hi Christina, you are right about the crazyness of German tax laws and regulations (shock one of your German/Austrian/Swiss colleagues in World friends with the fact that appr. 60% of the world’s literature on taxes and custom regulations are written in German), unfortunately I was only half joking, since while your payment by LG in Korea only effects you income tax in Korea, there is still the VAT issue. According to your video you were brought by LG to Germany as a freelancer (and not as an LG employee) to provide there your service as a presenter for which you were paid by LG. In general this a VAT taxable service in Germany for which you would to have charged German 19%VAT to LG and than make a tax declaration in Germany to see how much of this 19% amount you could off set by any VAT on expenses you had (flight, accommodation etc. - in case that were covered by LG this cost add to your payment as well btw). I am not up to date anymore, but there may a minimum amount that you do not reach by a single job per year, but that is for the tax authorities to decide. Since tax issues are sensitive and in case of VAT standardised in the EU - and hopefully you will get more than one job in the whole EU- you may want to avoid any trouble in the future and ask an expert. Maybe some of your European friends have some contacts. Sorry bringing up such an unentertaining issue..
@@ChristinaDonnelly actually it's pretty easy: from your income you subtract your opex and you get your net income, on which you pay the income tax, e.g. 15% on 24000€, 20% on 35000€, 25% on 50000€ (de.wikipedia.org Grenzsteuersatz ~> graph of Grundtarif i.e. base rate, Splittingtarif is for married couples)
What an awesome opportunity!

Amazing video 😊
Thank you 😁
When doing tourism in Germany go to Asian restaurants, noted! :) Most American thing you have done lol
Haha veggie sushi was one of my favorite dishes in the US. Sadly, it's not easy to find in Korea, so I had to take advantage of the opportunity 😝

I'm sure LG sales will go through the roof after Christina's excellent presentations there!
Christina teaching Korean to the German guy, and he teaching German to her, was so much fun to watch. 😂

Oh, working as a freelancer in Germany as an American who is residing in Korea?😮…have fun with you German income tax declaration 😊😅😂
hahaha I was sent by LG so I was paid in Korea! I heard the tax is pretty crazy for freelancers in Germany though 😅

@@tommay6590 dont know the international regulations BUT to charge VAT from a customer you need a national tax registration number !!
