- So we got the Spécial -83 & the Pallas -82 home. Cleaning timing belts and tensioners will be necessary for having any chance of getting them running. Let's' see if these are crap or not!
Anyone that Saves a GS is a great person in my book. Excellent.
Awesome how you do it! You prove what a robust and intelligent car the GS/GSA is. Few understand the technology, light, air-cooled and hydro-pneumatic suspension!
Hi There You a great engineer with a good mix of French and Swedish DNA a formula for success !!!
I thought I was the only one doing this. I now have four GS. One mint condition with 25,000 miles (1972 model) , an orange one that needs a boot and a bit of work but basically good, a brown one that has a reconditioned engine but needs paint, interior and some rust repairs and a beige one that also needs work.
The GS has been an overlooked car for so long, when I discovered this car in late eighties I was pretty alone here in Sweden to care about them. It was basically me and a friend. And the GS was extremely cheap, that's why I don't know how many I've owned, cause you bought them, drove them and then parted them out. Repeat. 😅
@@citromec Yes. They are terrific little cars with great styling and the best ride. 👍
Very cool my friend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😉
Hi. I 'll surely watch your progress in resurrecting these old beauties.
Happy runners
Love the style you’ve adopted here :)
The interior of the grey one looks fabulous! ❤ Why did i sell my 1982 GSA Pallas; i miss it when i see this😢
The shadow of the barn saved it, but it's bleached anyway....
Fantastic I have discovered another Citroen channel. I don't have to wait between Upndown or Hubnut videos. 👍
Looks like the front of a Subaru engine. Wish I could afford another Citroen.
Amazing!
Always very nice and interesting videos but when an old engine starts again its another level of good 👍🤩
Great job friend. I'd personaly slap on new transistorised ignition modules and new coils in all of them. 👍👍👍👍👍😎
No need to, these original ducellier transistorized systems are better than any modern products like 123-ignition and such.
@@citromec 👍👍👍👍👍😎
Definitely living someone's dream
Nice and careful work, bravo.
Timing belts are good quality on GS/A.
Sofar a 100% success rate, great news for the GS family.
👍💪✌
I give every car a fair chance, but a GS is definitely the worst car I have ever owned.
That's what I also thought before I learned how they work. 😅
