Before my aunt passed away years ago, she worked on a family tree project and we found out that Jerry Chesnut was her and my mothers cousin. He was from Harlan County just like my mother and aunt. We used to watch him on Hee Haw occasionally. Had no idea we were related. It explains the musicians in the family and where that talent comes from.. lol.. I would have liked to have met him.
