  • Dr. Hugh Catts presents the latest advances in research on dyslexia focusing on the early identification of reading and language disabilities, and early screening for the prevention of reading failure.
Researchers, educators and practitioners have the ultimate goal of helping children reach their full potential and lead a fulfilling life. Children with dyslexia not only struggle with phonological processing and decoding but may experience other downstream effects including reading comprehension problems, academic failure, as well as increased anxiety, reduced self-esteem, and lack of motivation. Hence, early identification and intervention are critical.
