@cray3027 I did not do a walk through because they were in such bad shape when I started. I have learned a lot about them that is for sure. If you follow this link you can send me a message and I can give you some advice. www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/1972-dodge-colt.442249/
@@hyperpak2498 I think I saw the video with the new head and running before I watched this one. Keep up the good work…very interesting….not all Mopars need to run Hemi’s…
@benjamincresswell3713 Sure do. They have not been racing for quite a few years. 66 Dart that they crashed and haven't rebuilt. I have parts on the Colt from them. It's a pretty small world of Slant Six Racers. We are racing at MOKAN the end of April, come see us and bring a car!
@scottstump9912 Thank you for the complement! It weighs 2215 with me in it, I am around 185 with a drivers suit and helmet. I am going with a lighter crank, so around 2205 when it gets back together. I do like the clutch. I could not push the Direct Connection Hemi Pressure Plate I used to run in my Barracuda with a normal clutch pedal. The diaphragm pressure plate will creep in the lights as I bring the RPM up so I am going to use the line lock when I stage it at the line. Thank you for watching!
Glad to see this update ! Thanks for keeping us informed of the latest developments !
I will post more as it gets closer. Thanks for watching!
Mr., I don't know who you are, but you are my kind of technition! Go get Em, buddy!!!!😂❤😅😊 J.Owen love Dat slant😅
@jerryrowen1 Thanks for your comment and for watching the video. Just a normal guy with a life long love of Slant Sixes.
Love your car. Do you have a wall through on how you put the Weber system on? Your car is my goal

@Mr9501 There is another video, as this build had a water leak into the oil. I had to build another head. Thanks for watching!

AWESOME CAR!!!
I’ve probably asked before, but what does it weigh all together with you in it?
Do you like that diaphragm clutch???
