Glad to finally see someone point this out. They can be just as bad, 9 times out of 10 it’s better to watch the movie yourself and form your own opinion on it.
If you read these reviews you can quite clearly tell nobody would take these seriously though.

I think James genuinely spent time ordering these in a way that would trick you the most.
These bad reviews remind me of that meme of the angry crying bald man yelling at a bearded ripped dude who couldn't care less about what the former is saying.

I really wish that you guys could do this but with critic reviews that were made when top he movie first came out, before being known as a classic. For example a bad review for Alien written in the 80s

Simon Morgan I think people need to open their minds more to at least the possibility of watching something that isn’t a franchise building, CGI fest most general audience members are so used to nowadays. This isn’t a sNObBy thing to say, its just that there are a lot of amazing movies out there that honestly deserve way more recognition and attention. That’s just my opinion and I do understand why people like Transformers movies (Bumblebee is actually great).
@@elijahmatias209 Oh, I understand it - they're safe bets; you know what you're getting (essentially the same movie you watched last time). In that way they can be like a comfort blanket and if people take enjoyment from them then that's absolutely fine. But there's no reason why some of those couldn't be juuuuust a tad better if some thought was applied. Bumblebee is a great example of that - thematically very similar to its predecessors, but sprinkled with enough care and attention to make it significantly better than those that came before.
These are absolutely hilarious. I've been binging this channel for the last week and it's been the highlight of my year! Great job.
My vote for first "Woke" movie that is also Terrible Garbage, nothing but people talking, Left leaning, AND not better than Mafia 3.
