that’s how i learned to play tenor sax😂 clarinet and tenor have lots of the same fingerings; alto is completely different tho👁👁

i did the clarinet for 3 years before i started the sax and i did grade 3 sax the same term i started it cause the skills were that transferrable lmao
I was on bass clarinet for 4 years when my band teacher asked me if I wanted to learn how to play alto sax in a few months for the school musical.
We were a smaller school that didn't have enough altos that year, who didn't already have parts in the play, but the next year we got an influx of new alto players. They didn't need all of us so they took me off of alto... and onto first tenor!!!

the best part about charlie is that he actually thinks about the stuff he says. like when he says the Shakespeare quotes to the girls and says he came up with them. It showed he reads and he knows how stupid the girls were and that the other guys would understand the joke, making all three perspectives happy. He's a freaking genius and I love it

The plot:
in my mind after Charlie was expelled from Welton he started traveling the world having experiences and having Mr Keating's teachings in mind and becoming a kind of writer he was probably bisexual but never married or had children but was the favorite uncle of his friends' children

Yeah, even though he was expelled, he didn't forget Keating's words of wisdom, just like the other boys who stood on their desks at the end. He would've loved it that they did that.
One thing I love about this guy is how he turned what was meant to be a humiliating moment into a funny story to make his friends laugh.

the only moment missing in this movie with charlie dalton is that "oh captain my captain" ending, I bet he would've done it first if he wasn't expelled
i knowww but it was important to todd's character development that he did it first
Ugh the way he doesn't even walk, just swaggers around with that SMIRK on his face and his hands in his pockets
It shifts throughout the whole movie but I find it really interesting he wears his uniform more casually throughout the movie
He only wears the blazer when he feels like he has too
In most classes or when they’re walking he’s wearing just the sweater or just the button up
I have a uniform so I pay attention to this stuff I guess
he wears his sweater backwards too

I went to a Catholic school that was lenient about ties and shoes and I read so much into people based on how they chose to approach the uniform.
