I was on bass clarinet for 4 years when my band teacher asked me if I wanted to learn how to play alto sax in a few months for the school musical. We were a smaller school that didn't have enough altos that year, who didn't already have parts in the play, but the next year we got an influx of new alto players. They didn't need all of us so they took me off of alto... and onto first tenor!!!
the best part about charlie is that he actually thinks about the stuff he says. like when he says the Shakespeare quotes to the girls and says he came up with them. It showed he reads and he knows how stupid the girls were and that the other guys would understand the joke, making all three perspectives happy. He's a freaking genius and I love it
