I've tried getting rid of mold with fire but it's never worked. I wonder if the Naturalist Trait is interfering. Might be another aspect of mold worth investigating.

Hey, someone who has also looked into getting the Wise trait (I have a whole discussion on The Sims Forums on Self-discovery system). It also plays into self-discovery system by counting as one moment and not appearing once the sim has had 3 already. I wouldn't count it as a bonus trait, as there is an hard cap of 6 personality traits that you cannot go over even with cheats. Wise will count towards it too... Though good news is that, unlike with Horse Ranch, the new traits will affect the social compatability score (with Wise liking to sims who like Cerebral sims) and the other traits also have self-discovery moments (except Child of the Village).

So yeah, there's that layer of strategy. If you want to go for wise, decline any self-discovery moments until elderhood.
I'm an American, but my wife is Indonesian, and we've been clamoring for an Indonesian pack, and were happy that this pack had so many "South-East Asian" items. There are Indonesian mods- Stuff for warungs, Pocongs- That stuff, but I hope that Sims keeps running with the world packs. : ) Terima kasih sekali untuk video ini bang.

I'm not American but I find it weird whenever there's references to real places in the Sims games. They go pretty far out of their way not to mention the USA even though that's where most of the locations are roughly based on. I don't care that much but I feel like it doesn't really fit together with all of the alternative history of the Sims world compared to ours either, it feels like they can't make up their minds about whether the Sims takes place in our world or not. Like, if Sim City and all the other Sims locations are actually in countries and towns on earth, how come they have bizzare alternative holidays to ours and strange plants and magical creatures? I think it's great to be inspired by real world cultures and traditions but it would be aot more creative if they made some up instead of just copying something that really exists. I think this pack is one of the better ones, but the Sims "lore" has had this problem ever since the first "Vacation" DLC.

Not gonna lie, when i got this pack i immediately went into build mode and start to build my dream kos-kosan for 10 hours, made a sim to be the 'ibu juragan kosan' and proceed to play in live mode, only to find out the LOADING SCREEN that pops out whenever we visit different units. I hope maxis will fix this soon, this pack still feels like an experimental updates because of the different types of features and gameplay. And btw, thanks again abi buat video barunya! Jangan lupa istirahat ditengah tengah gempuran sibuknya anak FK 💪
It has to have loading screens because the age sees it as a completely separate lot. Similar to if you were to go from your sims residence to the gym, it’s gonna have a loading screen. That’s just how the game is built
It's good for us who can't upgrade our pcs everytime an expansion comes out. Loading into another lot means it clears the memory cache between going from one to another so it's a smoother game. 3 had an issue where it wouldn't clear the cache and would cause many crashes due to using up all your system memory! Nothing was worse than having your entire session lost because you ran out of system memory.

I wish they had made tigers as a new type of pet. Imagine a sim living in a jungle and having a pet tiger that they could maybe even ride on. They could be like a jungle guardian with a tiger companion. It would’ve been so cool. And interactions like “ask (name of pet tiger) to guard the area” and “ask tiger to roar” it would’ve been amazing

This Wise trait is a phenomidal idea of the developers, especially to make it elderly only. This makes this life stage more valuable, especially when living with younger Sims who then can benefit from the wisdom.

Are these chaos events limited to the residential rental lot type only? 2. Can you just turn off these random events from occurring? I was foolish and paid for this pack before I saw all of the negative feedback about it. Too much time is passed for me to get a refund now, so it’s really just a matter of whether I decide to install it or not. Any help you could get me on these two questions would be greatly appreciated! 😊😊
Thanks, once the events started I was lost. The adopt a pet event was first and I got annoyed with all the npc’s on my lot and didn’t want to adopt a pet. Then a ghost was in my tenant apartment so I paid for the most expensive ghost catcher to get that removed. Then days later my tenant started protesting on my 4 star lot lol sad part is they are dating so I know his apartment was upgraded with all the perks, I decided to do inspections and after inspecting everything I promised a better living situation and it was over. Now it’s a 5 star but I turned the events off. Adoption day was enough to annoy me. Not really a fan of random sims walking into my backyard and using my stuff for free😂lol I need my coins!
There is one problem I've found with For Rent. It seems there's no way to change the main Lot name. When building my 4-unit building I started in Residential and changed Ro Kaya Rockside to Utopian Terraces. After finishing the build, I switched it to Residential Rental and linked up the unit rooms. It changed the Lot name back to Ro Kaya Rockside and I can only name the Units, not rename the Lot as a whole. This... needs fixed. I've tried to rename it in Build Mode, Manage Worlds, everything I could think of, and it just doesn't seem possible.
I never build more than 4 units because it may freeze all the time... So I will never use the cheat code to be able to do more ! However thanks for you video ! :)
Thank you for this video. I have to say I'm disspointed with the pack. Having to go to loading screen to every neighboour is so annoying , but there are some good stuff like heaters. I would love to have like sims 3 where they drive to the property.
So: we got Growing together pack separately and after few years after Parenthood came out. Now we have For rent which is after Luving the city, basically making more sense as a part of the city pack. Anything we are missing? So it could be added to the ones we already had?
That proves even the sims 2 is more open world than the sims 4 as you don’t go through loading screens to access the same lot despite having to go through loading screens when accessing other lots.
It's pretty faithful imo. The new stuff are relatable to us (especially the rental aspect), we got some Indonesian NPC names and premade household, tho I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of any new Indonesian dish and the small world with only 2 districts and 9 lots
This pack is fun to play but I cant stand with the loading screen. I just want to check my tenant on the same building. It is tiring to wait the loading screen for simply 2 or 3 interactions with your tenants

People need to stop ragging on loading screens. They clear the PC Memory Cache! Sims 3 had a issue where it would crash once the Memory Cache filled up and it didn't matter the power of your PC it would eventually crash from it. Heck there are mods for 3 to clear the cache out! Sims 4 hasn't got this due to the loading screens clearing the Memory cache between each lot/neighbourhood area. It helps the game run without as many crashes. Yeah it's annoying but I'd rather than my save crashing without warning as there's no space to run the game
I can understand if it's on a different lot since that's just how sims 4 works at this point, but what I don't understand is loading screens when visiting your neighbor next doors on the same exact lot. Even the sims 2 apartment life found a way to not go through a loading screen when visiting your apartment neighbors

it unfortunately is not a fixable thing for them :/ sims 4 is hard coded to need loading screens between active lots.

Using the cheat and having extra rental units above the cap WILL cause more lag, even on pro-level gaming computers, based on the gameplay I've seen.

Just torrent it and all expansions to try. 4 isn't that fun or detailed enough for my tastes even with all expansions so I stick to 2 and 3.
I like sims 2 much more than 3 or 4; I say enjoy Abi's videos and don't worry about playing it yourself. Sims 4 is really underwhelming.

loading screens make sense because having 48 sims constantly loaded (max family size in all units) would break the game on a lot of PCs

The toxic mold was a perfect opportunity to bring back the zombies from Sims 3
I disabled the events but still got tenant revolt when the unit ratings already 5 stars 😂 but it's still fun to build Kos-kosan 😂😂

What’s the rental lot your using with the pool in the centre
Default maximum playable Sims per save file is 100.
This can be changed in the Manage Households screen.
Wish we could actually explore the temples instead of it just being a rabbit hole ah well can’t have it all I suppose 😌

That proves even the sims 2 is more open world than the sims 4 as you don’t go through loading screens to access the same lot despite having to go through loading screens when accessing other lots.

It's pretty faithful imo. The new stuff are relatable to us (especially the rental aspect), we got some Indonesian NPC names and premade household, tho I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of any new Indonesian dish and the small world with only 2 districts and 9 lots
This pack is fun to play but I cant stand with the loading screen. I just want to check my tenant on the same building. It is tiring to wait the loading screen for simply 2 or 3 interactions with your tenants

The kain pelikat is available in the base game, while the traditional clothings are from the pack itself

Sayangnya water lot emang gabisa jadi rental lot kak. Kalo gasalah ada modnya yang bolehin tapi air lautnya jadi gakbisa diberenangin

People need to stop ragging on loading screens. They clear the PC Memory Cache! Sims 3 had a issue where it would crash once the Memory Cache filled up and it didn't matter the power of your PC it would eventually crash from it. Heck there are mods for 3 to clear the cache out! Sims 4 hasn't got this due to the loading screens clearing the Memory cache between each lot/neighbourhood area. It helps the game run without as many crashes. Yeah it's annoying but I'd rather than my save crashing without warning as there's no space to run the game
I can understand if it's on a different lot since that's just how sims 4 works at this point, but what I don't understand is loading screens when visiting your neighbor next doors on the same exact lot. Even the sims 2 apartment life found a way to not go through a loading screen when visiting your apartment neighbors
