Babul Supriyo nailed it. This is what CS4 India needs. A blend of classical with real classical instruments like Shehnai. Jeet Ganguli is unmatched to his own Bollywood compositions; that's what the beauty of Coke Studio. Sweetness of Babul ji and high pitched pulling by Gangulyji is what the attraction awaits.
He is the only MP in the country balancing the duties as MP and his original job!

Babul just poured his heart out right there! OMG what a song! Jeet was splendid as this composition had to be soft and melodious despite using those high notes and variations and he just nailed it. And yes use of shehnai was the masterstroke which gave song a sweet and enchanting touch. I bet very few musicians have that kind of understanding as what to use in a song to take it to the next level.

Babul supriyo is one of the best melodious singers of Bollywood. And this song is simply awesome. Lirics, background music and picturization everything is perfect.

Babul supriyo deserves more than what he is today. He is nobody king. His voice is so melodious. After certain phase he almost disappeared from musical mainstream,, better than member of parliament he is a singer, whose voice after 7days narayan is the most melodious in Indian musical industries. Nowadays only high pitch song are composed, and have almost forgotten the term melody. High pitch songs are also good but it has never explored outside the domain of Bharatbarsa Fateh Ali Khan. Our music composer should think about it. Still today pehla song makes our hear and soul exhilarated... Babul da types or melody songs have to be composed...
