The best thing about this scene in schwimmer's expressions. That face of helplessness that transpires from the tv screen ross to the now-ross was so well portrayed.
If you've ever felt like you missed your moment, it's impossible for your heart not to break for Ross when he watches her happily walk out the door to her prom.
I know how the acting business is. The actor playing that guy had to audition and go up against, probably 100 other aspirant actors, to get to be in Friemds and play that role. He was given very few lines, and he really gave it all. Passion behind the words of that line, comedic timing. Much respect!
This scene gets me every time, no matter how many times I've watched it. My heart just breaks at the look on Ross's face as Rachel leaves with Chip, as well as the look on his face when he's by the door afterwards, like he's just relived the entire thing over again; and then the look on Rachel's face that just says "I never knew...." before she walks over and kisses him. That kiss at the end was just the sweetest thing in the world and then all is right with the world again.
It's something to do with the tension in the video which is followed by Rachel's slow walk to Ross and the release when she kisses him. If there was nothing deeper to their relationship she would have said "Oh, that's SWEET" and the conversation would have moved back to how different they looked back then. The real question is why they have moved to a world city *NYC* and they are still living in each others pocket, like they're still in high school. 2:24 it was that one line that got me! Like “yeah, nice guys finish last…” 😢 but then Rachel Let him know! My man Ross come first place! ❤❤❤❤
Its not about being your crushes first love. It's about being the last.
chandler's reaction is amazing, he's like FINALLY!
If you didn't experience this when it first aired, you're not grasping just how huge a moment this was.
Phoebe: "see he's her lobster"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
But the fact Ross did that for Rachel was so heartwarming 😢😢💖💖💯💯
I still don't get what Ross did for Rachel. Can someone explain?
I love the part where they kiss, there's just so much chemistry between them I mean Sparks are flying everywhere
Phoebe beaming with joy is the cutest ❤️
I love how he was always so sweet to her even when she didn’t know and then when finds out she looks at him like no one else in the world exsists that’s love ❤️
Definitely one of my favourite moments in the show. Something about Ross' crestfallen face, chewing his lip and then their reaction when Rachel kisses him . Beautiful, genuine moment🥰🥰❤❤
this is a fucking beautiful scene for so many reasons. i empathize with ross, but the way his friends support him, and the way rachel genuinely feels pity but loves him too, it’s just so heart touching. i want a moment as beautiful as this.
Ross was so nervous when he was standing by the door, you could see he couldn't even breath..Such great acting!
I can't stop crying when I see this scene
This is, and I think I am not wrong, isn't it, guys?, one of the most awaited kisses of the history of american sitcoms
I just imagine all fans screaming in this moment when the episode aired
This is wonderful. Love all of them. The hug after the kiss is what makes it for me.
Rest in Peace Mathew. Chandler will live on forever in our hearts!
Anyone notice that gasp from the crowd a second or two before they locked lips? The crowd was into it as much as the rest of us.
Forever my all time favorite scene!!! So beautiful and compassionate and that hug and kiss was everything!!! ❤
His mom trying to turn the camera off a bit funny to me though
Phoebe’s lobster comment was fabulous
Everyone else’s reaction to Ross and Rachel was beautiful and you can tell they were happy for them especially for Ross.
yes!!! this one of my favorite scenes in friends for those reasons
I cried and laughed at the same time.
i just cried, this was so cute
How Rachel looks more carefully at the video when he goes up the stairs is masterful
Monica tearing up, seeing her brother and best friend in love. What a beautiful scene
The expression on Joey's face explains exactly what a true friend feels for you with your every sort of emotions.Obviously the title is perfect of this series... Best one I have ever watched...! Love it..!
The chemistry. He loves her so much.
You can totally see it on Joey's face; he really loves his friend and is genuinely glad for him. 🙂❤️
Cant believe i never noticed their feelings for each other are clearly real
I makes it even better to know that it is real.
Jack's 'Oh No' down the stairs was delivered perfectly, he was really disappointed for his son
I don't know why? But this show is like part of my life, I never forget to watch it. Whenever I got time I watch this show. I watch whole ten seasons, more than 5 times.
Ross is pure love ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯.so cute and pure in heart ,its difficult to not like him .
One of the most romantic kisses in all of TV or cinema. Just great to watch over and over. THANK YOU!
Phoebe's smile at the end is so good ❤️
I always well up when I see this scene. I think it might be my favourite moment of the whole show.
That one line: "You can wear my tux" it's a line beyond an ordinary sitcom.
I always had a good feeling about Mr. Geller, he was such a nice dad just like mine. He was weird and awkward sometimes but he never lost his faith for his children.
@Jose Ruben Rios Lopez - I think you meant Geller
@@jeffthebracketman darn it, thank you.
@@joserubenrios No problem my brother it’s all good
I love how the rest of the guys got happy instead of surprising.
Here after seing Friends reunion and David and Jennifer confirmed their crush back then
With a few exceptions Sitcoms must must have heart to last. It just can’t be only jokes. This was the moment Friends showed it had heart.
This is one of my favorite scenes , always makes me cry. "He's her lobster!""🤣🥰
I was feeling so bad for college Ross. But joey’s smile, so sweet
Man you could really feel Ross's old hurt boiling up when he says, "yeah... Well.."
I love the way he hugs Rachel
Awwww...I still get teary-eyed everytime I see this episode🥲🤗
Monica’s priceless reaction when she kisses Ross is the best 🥺🥺
This is the BEST moment in the series! Hands Down!
In my opinion this has their best kiss in the show
Kinda sad that they didn't mention this in the reunion. Personally, the greatest episode of the show and the greatest Ross and Rachel moment.
In My opinion this and "She got off the plane" are the greatest moments
