@Manslayer-eo1nh I'm still running shotgun+knife on zealot since it's reliable for me. I'll probably make an agri shotgun to replace my lawbringer just to deal with bulwarks tho
@@Manslayer-eo1nh you really have to build around the shotgun, but it can be super effective : on zealot try the perk that reduce the spread on successful dodge. Combine it with a agripina shotgun with Full Bore and No Respite. Bust heads all day.
I sometimes have trouble surviving through normal Damnation, and i forget that madlads like yourself obliterate Auric Damnation with the special modifiers. You are fucking good at this, especially playing the weapons that are not so good at dealing with multiple enemies at once.
@@solareclipse9379 Not really? They have almost non existent cleave, vast majority of the attack patterns are strikedowns and assassins. How is that good for dealing with hordes? The best horde smackers are the Power Maul, the chainswords, the new chainaxe, Eviscerator, powerswords and force swords. If you're really good you can quickly eliminate a lot of enemies because, unlike cleave weapons, tac-axes and other similar weapons oneshot a lot of enemies, especially with headshots, even with light attacks, while aforementioned cleave sticks tend to take 2-3 lights or 2 heavies to take down a few enemies at once.
Plasma gun on veteran is really funny especially when paired with the power sword. Basically you become a force of nature that does not stop oneshoting things. build for tap shots and go ham.

Pros: - Unique gameplay - Creates a feeling of overcoming impossible odds while remaining fair - Infinite skill ceiling Cons: - Broken audio cues leading to unfair deaths - Poor servers ignoring weapon swap/dodge inputs, causing unfair deaths - Excessive RNG in weapon crafting, despite promised fixes I feel that the people complaining about the lack of updates that fix these issues have a fair point. The people asking for new weapons as a condition for them to continue playing, however, are kinda missing the point imo. Like L4D, the fun is in honing your skill and not just playing with new toys. Although, it's not entirely their fault since FS did falsely advertise this as a live service game. The game would be complete in my eyes if it just fixed the aforementioned issues.

People who just complain and say they want 100 more new maps and weapons are kinda missing the point of the game. We already have a shit ton of weapons and thankfully this aint helldivers 2 and you can use pretty much all of them on dammation. Game is just a v i b e.
Man that is incredible.... I just slum it up in Malice with my Ogryn. I struggle pushing the poxbursters back, meanwhile you're dodging all of the bosses attacks like a Dark Souls game. Seems impossible lol
Can you play with 3 bots yet in Darktide? Only thing stopping me from buying it. I don't wanna bother setting up playdates with my friends and I don't wanna play with unpredictable randoms
Unfortunately, no official single player mode, and you can't queue for a private game alone. The game is also much too alive for you to be lucky enough to have no one join. Even if you happen to start a game alone, people will be joining in just a few moments.
cavalcade is not great on the Boltgun It would be a bit better to have Surgical I will look into that more tho the only reason I say this is when you make it a Dumpfire you lose 60% of your ammo on targets that only maybe 7 shots to kill like bulwarks 3 shots to the shield and they open up and take 3 to the head to take out, the Tac axe is nice it may not hit Hard but it still able to rip open armored cans and chop up grunts still great moves
Thanks for the tips! Although, Surgical is nigh useless for the way I play. I'll never sit back as a Zealot and shoot gunners back because I could just charge in and take them out without consuming resources. I'd also miss most shots due to suppression, so there wouldn't be much of a point for me to use Surgical.
@@xstreamdray you make a fair point you most often won’t be able to get your shots off if you’re suppressed, but remember if you slide after dodging say backwards or to the right that will break your suppression right away and give you a little bit of room to shoot It won’t always work because you might get pinned to grab an enemy or something along the lines of oh no pain Sliding does suppression and it allows you to shoot, aimed or just plain old point shooting I wish you luck on building a bigger load out

Pretty sure these were returning players that were super rusty at the game. Didn't know what they were doing, but I just knew that I didn't want to fight away from the objectives and have the mission take an hour to complete..
Thnx for the reply. I understand not pushing forwards when a horde spawns, so you don't agro fresh roaming mobs in the new area and have to deal with everything at once. It just seems to thin out so much for you when you back track, its as if its only spawning ahead of you. I watch videos like this to try and get better. DT is my fave game atm. Im zealot main, got over 800 hrs in the game so you'd think i know a bit, but i don't think im that good. I'm on Xbox too so no mods to see just how much damage im contributing. Ps. I was on 9/10 missions for auric exemplar title. Last wave of the last event in the last room... got yeeted by explosive barrel. Reset progress to 0 :(
Np! Kiting is an insanely strong strat when clutching, although you won't have to do it too much with a full team because you should have more than enough firepower to just keep pushing. Sorry to hear about the barrel incident, they're definitely the #1 danger when it comes to the streak related penances.. I know your pain!
Yknow, people say that if they added a death guard as a boss we would get our shit pushed in, but with psykers running around like that killing off entire swarms of enemies, I am starting to think its possible lmao

So what's the mechanic with horde spawns? Don't they spawn all around you wherever you are? Is that why you back track through the level?
They spawn from the spawn doors around you no matter where you are. You reposition to find a better place to fight and to not get surrounded.
