Awesome video on your new garage door opener and nylon rollers! My mom's neighbor had a new garage door opener professionally installed about a year ago, and she has had to have the company come out 3x to fix it! They told her the quality of the new garage door openers just isn't there like it used to be. That's the 1st time I heard that about garage door openers. Now I need to ask her what that model is. Maybe she got a lemon! Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I didn't set out to be a garage door semi-pro, but problems do crop up from time to time and I've learned to make all the repairs myself except for installing new springs. Removing the old broken springs requires a lot of disassembly of the cables, pulleys, etc. and the prospect of installing new springs isn't too appealing, so I leave that to the pros.
Great advice my hillbilly friend. Feel free to come and install mine. I lost my two year old unit when my house was struck by lightning. My old (new) unit only had one light which was not really sufficient. I am glad to see this one has two lights.
Great video. I'm looking to upgrade my current set-up since it doesn't include a battery and was looking at this model. This morning the garage breaker was tripped and my wife couldn't leave for work. Looks like the breaker is going since it took me a few tries to get the breaker to stay closed. The camera comes in handy with MyQ. My current setup, older opener with MyQ add-on and no camera, has been having issues lately. The door sensor must be going bad since I'll get an alert that the door is open even when it is closed. Without the camera, when I'm not home, I can't verify that the door is closed. I would never pay the service, a live look would be all I need.
Thanks for posting the reviews, I just installed a Chamberlain B6753T opener. I had an older Craftsman opener with an outdoor wireless keypad but I couldn't get it to sink with the Chamberlain opener. I have a few maintance/yard work people that access the property or house via the keypad and was worried that this new opener wouldn't allow for a wireless keypad. Where you able to program the B6753T to your wireless keypad?? I have no problem buying a wireless keypad but would like to know that it will actually work once I get it. Thank you for your time Bob, Now I'm going to buy some Dura Lift rollers to eliminate some of the noise coming off of my old wheels,, thanks for that too. Cheers from Canada
Did you have any issue with Key delivery and the camera Durant record long enough to actually see the delivery? Mine starts recoding after I get the notification and when the door is halfway open the video stops recording- ugh
Unfortunately we don't yet have Key Delivery available in our area, but I'll enable it as soon as it's available. Is there a setting for recording legnth?
No. I just installed mine after two Key Deliveries I receive a notification through the MyQ app and then try connecting live - that only works though if the camera isn’t already recording. So I wait until it finishes and then check the video history. The camera starts recording because it received the notification (no movement), but then after the door starts going up, the camera stops recording. This completely defeats the purpose of Key Delivery. Amazon is pretty strict about insuring you have a Ring camera but I only recently found out that MyQ has this feature incorporated. But it doesn’t work properly. I called chamberlain support and they were absolutely no help. I kinda figured there would be little support because I had to call them when installed their video keypad. I was having difficulty with that install because I had to use their hub. Support was no help and told me that keypad wasn’t compatible with the hub. Well as it turns out it is and I just kept troubleshooting until I got it to work. It did pair quickly with the new opener though. So for a subscription service their support is horrible and this obviously wasn’t field tested before marketing.
LOL, I've been trying to find the right seal for weeks. It takes a P-bulb seal, but the first one I ordered was too small where the seal goes into the groove on the garage door. The seal I received yesterday fits the groove in the door well, but the sealing portion is much smaller diameter than the OEM seal. The search continues!

You need a garage door seal. plenty of space for bugs, snakes and ex girlfriends to enter

@@Koolbob2 I had a garage door seal - a good one. And then a chipmunk chewed through it to get into the garage.
