The Dripper 🥶🥶🥶
The Dripper is the coolest shit I have ever heard.
Kratos really destroyed asgard with full Drip😭😂
it’s seems that the absence of loki in odins life and his presence in kratos seems to have kratos take odins stories.
Could that be why in the ending. Instead of kratos dying in atreus' arms, it's odin?
@@gooberman172 if that’s the case it’s funny that once he’s in odins life that he dies, like since odin treated him like he was loki he brought the prophecy to life.
From a video I've seen, it does seem that the lore is made in such a way that yes, it would be the Norse Mithology we know, but Loki is *missing*. Without him, all the stories we hear in the game and what we see, have drastically changed the whole world. Baldur may have been the God of Light, but without a Loki orchestrating his death when they made the contest by shooting him arrows and one had misttletoe, he did not die there, and lived to go mad due to his inmortality and unable to feel anything. Its quite interesting!
@@fildariusv7045 yea, that was omething im glad they really leaned into. I thought it was cool how it was handled in gow 2018, but then ragnarok basicallh going "ok now what happens if now loki starts impacting the story, what changes when you have had him missing from the story and then right before the end thrust him into the narrative"
@@HovektheArtist It does make sense? Kratos and him (lets not forget that had he not had the mistletoe on him, defeating Baldur was impossible), Finvulvinter would not have happened, and the fact that he started to search for Tyr, etc... Its been years since the first game, of course he is gonna impact the story!

so basically infinite drip, sheesh. didn't know kratos was chill like that.
Man the more i learn about norse mythology the more i realize how insanely creative and clever God of War and God of War ragnarok is.
Its remarkable how well the ring translated into an action game that literally used its duplication to make infinite spears. That ring alone would be an amazing addition to Gilgamesh's Babylon Skill
That ring would be great to have as part of the weapon collection of Gilgamesh, I can hear it now in dissidia "and now it's time for the dripining"
Soon as Kratos put on that ring he thought to himself....now I'm "DRIPPED OUT"....... lol
“The dripper ”
I could see Kratos lacing his black air forces up rn
I'm still in shock about how insanely incredibly good that story was. I finished the main story 3 days ago. Can't stop thinking about it or listening to music from the soundtrack. Lol
"Boy i have forged the spear of drip"
"But dad a spear can't have drip"
Man I wish classic Norse Loki would appear like maybe he is from a previous Ragnarok and managed to survive. It would also be interesting to see Atreus fight the living embodiment of his demons. Like 2018 we saw a glimpse of that arrogance and pride that mythology Loki had. Also the fact that Atreus was able to talk his way out of being almost killed by Thor that reminded me of the myths were Loki’s mouth and his way with words helped him get out of tons of situations.
Yeah but there was no previous Ragnarok. The only reason Jormungandr exists during gow 2018 is because It got sent back in time by Thor during it. It would have been cool to see the development of Loki into more of a god of mischief tho
I wanted that too then head the story about Loki and the horse then changed my mind the current Loki is good enough 💀💀
@@marcsape1503 Jormungandr is a closed time loop. He will always exist at both the beginning and end of Ragnarok. That means if he was in GoW 2018, it's only because the events of GoWR already happened once before. So there is a previous version of every character... including Kratos. They even hint at this when they meet Jorgy (I'm not spelling the whole thing every time), as Mimir says "the serpent said the boy seems familiar". Jorgy recognized Atreus from the previous loop.
From the players perspective (through Kratos), events will continue after Ragnarok, but using Jorgy as an example doesn't prove anything.
And now, your head is exploding. Time travel sucks, huh?
@@lincolnpascual Loki made Jorgy when he put the giant soul in the snake in the basement. It grew into the young Jorgy that fought at Ragnarok. During the battle Thor sends young Jorgy back in time. So old Jorgy in GOW2018 has aged through time and remembers Loki from the battle at Ragnarok. So no time loop no multiple cycles.
I love the spear. It was such a unique way to add it into real norse mythology, and also tied it to the OG spartan weapon, the spear. I would be ok if they decided to make now more gow games
The drip! It's too strong!
Kratos: Thanks to Brok my drip can pop!
That’s an amazing backstory I never would have known
Took awhile to finally give a Spartan a spear.
I love how this explains where brok and Sindri got all their metal for forging
They literally have the infinite money glitch
@@AHSValor had
They do actually mention it in the game.. they would melt down the gold to forge but I also presume they would sell the gold also
And another thing that they donated to the cause
The Dripnir Spear.
It all make sense now about freyr's flying boat
Don’t forget that they actually made lady Sif’s hair after Loki cut it off while she was asleep
Draupnirn is odins ring that replicates itself nine times either each day or every ninth day. Odins spear was called Gugnir
During the game I was like damn all those rings but now it makes sense 💀
The drip is eternal 🙏🏾
God of War: Drip Eternal
God of War: Infinite Drip
Fun fact: Eitri can also be translated as Sindri, which is why Brok and Sindri are depicted similar to Brokkr and Eitri
The ring is so powerful it won itself a game of the award
Nicknamed the Dripper what a cool ring I’ve looked into the research and the audiobooks
Between this and the armor you gain throughout the story, Kratos' got drip
This is actually pretty accurate to genuine Norse Tales. Good job 👍
Brokker and Eitri .. could that be Brock and Sindri?
Yes. Eitri is an another name for Sindri.
The driper? More like the drippy that ring looks fire🔥
When he said "the dripper" i had the UI theme in my head for like 0.5 seconds💀

The dripper 🥶🥶🥶
The Dripper 🥶🗣️💯
Everybody stopped listening the moment they heard 'the dripper'
Heimdall couldn't handle the drip
I loved reading the Norse mythology even though it was messy and hard to understand sometimes
I find it funny because the brothers most definitely used this glitched ring to craft many stuff.
what does the draupnir spear do in game?
Pokes.
Has the ability to infinitely replicate the spear head and allows Kratos to "detonate" them. So you can throw 20 spears at someone and blow up the heads causing damage. As well as normal spear attacks and other special attacks.
@@bflaves123What's cool is that the replicas exploding isn't just a gameplay thing, it actually is cannon. Like when Kratos detonated the Draupnir replica stuck in Heimdall's arm, it actually exploded and fully ripped it off.
@@Idan_denisov
* pokes *

*You gained 69 points!*
@@mob1_ If they intend to continue the story in Egypt, which is likely since the franchise is massively successful and Egypt was originally meant to be the setting for 2018 GoW, what weapon do you think they would give him? I think the Egyptians had those neat curved blade things, but that really isn't Kratos' style.
Interesting thing is, in God of War the Norse realms each have a different perception of time. For all we know the realm between realms is a relative unknown in regards to its passage of time. It could go faster or slower, or even both ways. So it’s possible that before it became a spear, Draupnir has the same 8 day time frame as it does in Norse myth.
GTA Infinite Money Glitch
I knew you guys would go crazy as soon as he called the rings the ‘dripper’
Do you have a video for Freyr's foldable flying boat or Ingrid?
the boat is in this vid tho
Artreus: "Cmon father! We have to go and fight Asgard!"
Kratos: "Hold on lemme get my drip"
Bro kills his enemy with drip 💀
Kratos dripping with the spear. Heimdall couldn't stand the swag.
Beyond the fact that this chat will be filled with “drip or drown” jokes and puns apparently the ring copies were used by Odin both as a reward for his most loyal faithful and as badges of honor for his troops the Einherjar.
Yes …. Yes….. You are right…..

Don't like how they negatively portray Óðinn and the Norse gods in the games but it is cool that there's a very popular game based on Norse mythology. Give and take I guess...

Kratos with drip can't hurt you, he isn't real!
Kratos with drip:

Eitri: Sindri
Brokker: Brok
I could be wrong but thought this little comparison was cool
The Dripper be Drippin
He offered that man peace and he starts RAGNAROK!!!!!!
I see Kratos got that northern mythology drip
The short: "Draupnir also known as The *Dripper* "
Me: "Sigh here we go again"
i love that Brok and Sindri confirmed that they’d been using it for “material”
“Drip too hard, don’t stand to close boy.”
Might catch this wave
DRAUPNIR: "I am an infinite GOLD MACHINE!!!"
Bro playing GOW helps me understand all these things so much better. Like the flying boat for example
Brokir and Eitri are other names for Brok and Sindri which also explains why they have draupnir in their house
The Dripper is the ultimate Drip ring!
If all the copies retained the magic ability of the original, we'd have no friggin universe, only rings
Kratos literally got unspoken drip
All these driper got me drip drip
Drip'nir😩💯🥶🥵😎💯🥶💯
Kratos got that Ring of Rizz..🔥
So that’s why draupnier was always in rings thx for clearing that up
Can't go wrong with the "drip"
Well that explains a lot lol. I was confused about that scene with all the same rings.
Droop-nir is how I grew up saying it, as in because it droops and drop 8 more bands.
Yes...I was able to piece that together from the cutscenes and them talking about it
Didn't know Brock and Sindri where based on real mythical characters that's awesome
So Kratos got the drip yo!
There is a book called norse mythology by neil gaiman that helped me alot, i started reading it the launch day of GOWR, santa monica did a very god job to adapt the norse myths to GOW very good job.
"The Dripper"
Creates enough drip for 8 of you
Ohhhhh, so that is why there were so many rings in that room! That is such a cool fact!
God of drip has obtained the dripper
Draupnir was a ring, but the misconception is that it actualy was a armring. Makes sence in norse mythology.
The rings that drove near creates are perfect replicas and even says it in the north Etta... Which means that his fortune grows that exponentially
