Really nice to see the weight lifted on the screen AND the weight x reps of the previous week. I like to watch these before going to the gym. Puts me in the right mindset.
Love those traing vids. Im wondering, do you see your body react different to the training than it did when you were still competing? I mean do you see for example that your recovery is worse or progression is slower because of the age.
If I compare with 2016, slower obisovly because in 2016 already haded 4 training mesocycles completed. If I compare with 2014 when I started my preparation I;m feeling better now.
Do you ever find it difficult to collect all the necessary bumper plates to your deadlift at a commercial gym? Also how heavy do the weights feel currently compared to how you remember them feeling previously during training, maybe when you were at your peak? Is it a whole different experience now or does your body remember that these aren't the heaviest it has pulled up even though you can't match the peak numbers at the moment? You have probably brought the fitness back up so many times that this is more like a routine to you now, no questioning, just following the process. Regarding straps: lifters that are not very experienced are often adviced to forget the straps for now. How do you use straps in terms of when do you use straps and when do you not use straps? What are the reasons and circumstances for you to say "I'm going to use straps for these lifts now" or "I won't be using straps now"? I assume it has to do at least partially with how much training volume you're programming.
not neccesary, is a part of a training and when you are strong, even if you train in a weightlifting gym, you need to put the weights that you work back on the rack. I don't think about the weights, so always I feel them same, but my strength is not so high now, if you compared with 2016, when I was able to front squat 240/250 doubles weekly, but I will get there. I use always straps, I don't use straps at cleans and muscle exercises and if I want to do snatch without straps, I can do at least same weight that I do with straps. the problem to use or not use straps, is only for athletes that don't know how to use hook-grip ( there is a technique too) and you can discovered it in this video: th-cam.com/video/M743DbSuONA/w-d-xo.html
@@gsincraian I've been lifting weights for two years now, sometimes I think it's too much time for a while, but with time it seems to be ok, thanks again for the answer. Sports greeting

I don't think I've ever seen you miss a clean before! What is your strategy when this happens?
training is training , but here the barbell is not spining at higher weights. I changed with an eleiko xf recently
Really going well. How much break do you take between you heavy C+J sets?
Around 2 minutes
Very Stunning Lift🫶🏻,One question. Do you expand your stomach for jerk like when you are squatting?
nee, im trying to inhale with my nose :)

I was going to ask same question
