The sound of you hammering in the shelves made me very happy! lol! This is such an ingenius solution for the project and really enjoyed watching your process. I especially love the asymmetry of how it hangs on the shelf, which works really well, especially when the train is put on display! Great work, as always! ~ Mark
Hey Brian, very nice build. Gotta hand it to you, you're getting more skilful with each project. Maybe it's time to upgrade your tools so that you could do more? The way I see it, you could really benefit from a proper shaper... what ya call.. a spindle moulder I think. Perhaps one of those combination machines from Hammer or Felder so that you'd save on space, and not so expensive in the long run, I hear. Those machines could take either dedicated cutter heads, or use your current router bits with a spindle you'd swap out. Much safer for you to be taking bigger bites of wood, the way I see you like to work. Your call, of course. Just that, in my opinion, you have the creative capacity, together with the ability to get paying commissions, to justify that type of expense. After all, a justifiable expense is not an expense, but an investment. Take care now, be safe.
Brian, I always love when I see a new video from you. As someone who's not as experienced I would love it if you took a little more time explaining your techniques. I know for you they are second nature but you loose me. Also the jigs you make to do the processes , they would be great to learn how to make them. I used to build model railroad structures and also had a model railroad so this was really special. Thanks

It makes me remind of my childhood when I played with toy train. The design and color of this shelf is very awesome and perfect.
