I’m overwhelmed by the beauty of this, and the matching desk. I want these so badly that I can almost taste it. That circle (and the walnut) just sends me to the moon!
Just found your channel. Love your projects and videos. The gaming shelf looks so cool! Have subscribed and will watch more. Regards One Handed Maker Australia
completely reasonable time between videos :D this video was really nice and I liked how it was well edited to include all the details necessary without going overboard.
Thanks man, I do have some more videos on their way. I have pulled back from TH-cam a bit. After 8 or so years of time invested and not realizing my goals, I have decided to dedicate more of my time to other projects off TH-cam. I still plan on posting, just at a more leisurely pace.
I'm just guessing I have no clue but it looks it would come from a vikings time period so I'd say game of thrones crazy since I've never seen one episode... but I to like the time period.. it's very nice definitely a gem
Hi 👋, Brian . I think that you have already made this before, about a year ago, it looks Japanese in style, as I have made something similar, a long time ago, Are used to like making things out of ash and ebony. It is a great contrast, It was great to see you using your planner correctly , as you quite often see people pushing the wood over the cutter block area where I have known for the wood to kick back, and Johan disappears down and the block, I have first met somebody that done this back in 1977/8, I still have most of my tools and equipment, my planner and thickness separates are made by SCM . Keep up the great work , look forward to seeing your next project. Phil from the moulin France
How many hours does it take to build these segmented shelves? Just thinking about each half lap has me thinking this takes a long time to build. I'm sure you can do all this way faster than me, but there still has to be a lot of back forth on the fitment of each curved half lap. This seems like something that non-woodworkers wouldn't understand the effort it takes for it all.
Take no notice of the Nay Sayers below Brian. You do great stuff. All hail the use of Jigs 🤪. BUT my wife would not want to be doing your laundry basket. You must of gone through about a dozen Tee shirts in ten minutes 🤪🤣🤣

Excellent job fitting the half laps on the segmented ring... that's a thing of ww'g nightmares, lol.
Your craftsmanship is excellent Sir.
Thank you!
As usual of the highest quality.
Looks great Brian!

I love your videos...I'm sure you're busy, but I'd be happier if you made one soon!

Very cool design. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing shelf. Lord of the Rings, would be my guess. One [segmented] ring to rule them all.

❤❤❤.. best luck my friend
Wow amazing build love the way it turned out it looks amazing. Can’t imagine how many hours you spent on it.
elinize saglık tasarım ve işçilik mükemmel.
Was you inspiration Stargate ?
Nope, but that is a classic!
Wow!
Very cool 😎 👍👍
Smash Bros logo for the inspiration maybe?
Winner!!!
As a fellow geek myself, I'd say Avengers or maybe even Fantastic Four for inspiration. Haha

Thanks, this project took me about 1.5 weeks.
Gotta say it looks like smash bros logo.

What can I say, I like a clean shirt
2:37 I hate when that happens ...
😜 I'm just a cutsy person fumbling through life
Long time between videos 🙁 this video was not up to your usual standards. I much prefer your longer detailed videos Brian.
