【英語】主よ、みもとに近づかん (Nearer, My God, to Thee) (日本語字幕)

1912年に豪華客船タイタニック号が沈没する際、沈みゆく船の上で同船のバンドメンバーたちが演奏し続けた…というエピソードが有名な讃美歌のひとつ。詞は19世紀に英国のアダムスによって書かれました。1997年の映画『タイタニック』を始め、タイタニック号沈没をテーマにした多くの映画で使われていますが、キリスト教会でのお葬式の定番曲として、アニメ『赤毛のアン』（1979）のマシュウ・カスバートの葬儀や、『男はつらいよ 寅次郎純情詩集』（1976）マドンナ京マチ子の葬儀場面でも登場しています。動画はロンドンデリー合唱団の歌唱。
