DIY Custom sheath for opinel #8 slim
As always I will post my success and my failures. This project was definately a learning experience and I finished with a useable sheath.... success! In this video I make a custom leather sheath for my opinel #8 slim. I used 8 oz veg tan leather, dark brown leather stain and waxed thread to put this guy together! I also show some of the other leather projects I have attempted in my 2 weeks of leather craft. Thanks for watching .....be gentile!

Oh brother I'm not fearless. I am just determined to be real! I want to show all my success, failures and be honest as possible. Too many "everything is awesome" guys out there. I think when people see someone try something and make some mistakes but still finish with something decent it will inspire them to try. It's good to get out of your comfort zone from time to time.

Lol yup just came off yesterday lol. It is still going strong too. I took this setup to Algonquin park on a 53k canoe camping trip. I brought a fixed blade but never used it. I love this rig.
