His positive spirit sometimes is pretty annoying, but, papyrus is a friend that you'll be missed a LOT when he's gone
Stuff like this is why I can't do evil routes in games. I'm too sentimental to want to trash characters I've come to care about, even if it ultimately doesn't matter.

Dear god I dread the day when Watame has to face this if she ever decides to do G. I dont think her poor little floofy heart can handle it.
From the sound of the end of her P route stream she was gonna see a little bit into G route and see if she could handle streaming it. It’d be pretty uncomfortable watching her do that run knowing how personal some of the subjects are for her.
@@Kdawg995 I believe after Kanata finished beating Sans she sent out a Twitter message stating she probably wouldn’t do it after spectating parts of it. And I don’t really blame her since she was VERY emotionally attached to the characters in her pacifist route; I think she’d actually be scarred trying to go down a G route, especially considering Watame’s view of her parental figures.
@@iexistiguess1920 I 100% agree. It’s everyone’s choice wether they “need” to complete the game or not and I think this is the perfect end for our little sheep. I do hope to see more translated clips of her p route though..

For Marine, killing Papyrus was an emotionally devastating experience that warped her behavior for the rest of the run, making her _want_ to be stopped.
For Kanata, pushing through the denial of that kill was what finally broke her investment in being a good person, letting her hurt all else with no restraint.
Oh, and then there's Rushia. For her, this was Tuesday.

Papyrus is usually the point in the genocide run where apathy sets in. After this point, you stop hesitating when killing and just go though the motions.
Which, funnily enough, is exactly the game’s explanation of what LOVE is.

@@rafaeldarkdm4956 The weapon you will most likely have at that point are the Tough Gloves, this means that you will use your hands. The attack animation with the Gloves is a rush of punches, so I'd say this is horribly accurate even with Papyrus, but in a different way

Someone needs to translate Marine's whole G route
When you get down to it, Papyrus is the Point of No Return for a Genocide run. Every monster up till him can be justified in that they attacked first. Papyrus is the first hurdle in cementing that you are doing a Genocide run, since he doesn't attack you. At all. You can't goad him to make the first strike. As an aside, I really liked that Marine was the only one to piece together what the dust on Chara's hands meant.

I'm really curious on how Papyrus would react if you kill Sans. I know that can't happen in the game and curiosity is literally what leads to the genocide route but I'm just interested to know what he'd do if that somehow happened.
There is a fan concept called "disbelief papyrus" that explores that scenario.

Yeah they did that because there’s no papyrus/comic sans fonts for Japanese so this is a way to make his text look different even though it can’t be in Papyrus lol. Sans’s Japanese font is different too, it’s a lot bolder - looks almost like arial black for Japanese lol
The vertical text is the traditional way of writing Kanji, the normal left to right is the Romanisation of the Jp written language to make it easier for non Jp to read, and also to make documents easier to read too.
