There were several factors at play that turned actress Cara Delevingne's Good Day Sacramento appearance into the perfect storm of interview awkwardness.
I think everybody would be pissed off.The first thing before interviewing someone is to be sure to pronounce the guest name and try not to ask silly questions.
She answered her question very sarcastically my friend. The interviewer fudged up her name, sure but she clearly didn’t do it on purpose. She continued by first greeting her and then by expressing humility by acknowledging her busy schedule and lack of time, which is how she appreciated Cara’s hardwork. Didn’t deserve the deliberate hostile treatment from cara though. The thing is, Actors are way too overrated in today’s world. Did you know? It takes a lot more than just good looking people that can act well to make a movie or a tv show? This is why most production houses prefer to cast new actors for their movies and shows because they are just hard to work with as seen in this interaction. A huge game studio like Rockstar prefer not to work with big name actors because their inflated self worth make them really hard to work with. For example, we all love GTA V and it has been such a great game, and cara played the dj for a radio station in the game but 90% of the gamers don’t even know this fact, and those who know don’t even care much. The game made $8.5 Billion US (Avatar is the highest grossing film ever with total earnings at $2.9Bn) till now all over the world and that was not because of any big names.
The least the interviewer could do, was get her name right. Cara might have been in a mood, but the interviewers were at the grossest, and ignorant fault
The interviewers implied that she is not somebody that would read a book. The criticized her for being to busy. They wanted her to be in a certain mood. They were very condescending and also criticized the script of the movie. They did not respect her and talked down to her as if she was a little girl. She was just sarcastic and she was also a bit shocked and surprised at what the interviewers said to her. She was verbally attacked by three grown ups and she did not even talk back to them. She was very polite and never said a bad thing about then. Not even in her twitter response. So I don't know how anybody could critique her for the way she answered. Sarcasm ≠ rudeness.
The thing with the older people is that with age, you tend to make more communication errors, being out of touch with pop culture can also make them appear rude or insensitive and although these errors are overlooked by other people of similar or older age than them, younger people might take offence, and we all should just respect them and give them a break instead of being meaninglessly rude to them. Be humble people, we all are humans after all and we are gonna be old some day too.
Yes ! The interviewer was VERY Unprofessional if they had a problem with her or felt Some type of WAY The. Interviewer STILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN a. Professional and did her. JOB.
They wasn’t being Professional at all. First they called her by a different name. Then pick fun of her. Of course she not going to be happy to talk to them. They suck.
