Parker, been following you for years and I'm starting to get hardcore with my builds. I just did 2 Skar DDX 12s on a Taramps Smart 3 and I built my first custom box in my Genesis G80 5.0. It's 4.2 cu ft 6" aeroport tuned to 33hz, double baffle, mdf and all that. Slams, digs DEEP in the low 30s shakes the whole car and gives the trunk hell. I need to deaded the whole trunk asap. Now for my real build in my Mustang 5.0....I came across Blackbrick today and since they still have their sale on I used your code and picked up their last 8k amp for much cheaper than a Taramps Bass 8k. I was going to pick up 2 of these Brickhouse 12s which would have matched perfectly but I can get 2 Avatar Tsunami 12's for slightly less. Gonna run a 96 aH headway bank on it all for now and I'm going to run the fronts 3 way active with 2 6.5s in the rear deck all on good power too. Gonna strip the whole interior and sound deaden the entire car and wire, solder, wrap, etc, everything to the nines for a real pro level build. Thanks for the motivation brotha, you, CAF and Exo really showed me I could do it all myself.

Really impressive considering the power lost on the smaller box. Been looking for a good replacement for two 12" treos. Box is way too big for my focus.
I was just checking out there site.. These are some good prices for those stats.. There's something to be said about them using aluminium over copper coils, which obviously these are more SPL based subwoofers anyways.. but Power/Stat's to price is really nice even on their lower level products.

You might want to invert the sub considering that enclosure is to small. With some editing you can do a A/B comparison to see the results. I'm sure us followers would to see this!
I would definitely love to see that sub and a box that is made for it like Parker said his box was too small so I’m not going to get the right amount of DB but yeah I’d love to see a Part II video with it and a correct box

I been thinking about picking one up.. but I haven't seen a 15" version... ATM I only run 15"s and quad 8"s in both builds. My 2010 VW CC TSI Turbo sport has the Skar VXF 15" in a 3.98 cube @30hz and it's pretty wicked. And in our other VW CC turbo sport which is a 2013 it's got the 4 Sundown Xv3 8"s in it. And it's also wicked but not as wicked as the Vxf 15" is but good. And if I can find a 15" version of this woofer I'd pick it up to try it out

499 isn't bad considering building one like this is cheaper but the time and investment to make sure every sub is done nicely very interesting subwoofer
I remember when Blackbrivk was promoting these on Facebook a few months ago, they argued with me for a while about it only having one tensile lead instead of dual or triple at it's price point and rms range. If keep at eye on those tensiles boss! Glad to see I was right and all the people who were trying to argue that I couldn't see how many leads it had from the pics and stuff.
Hey skippy, dbl and triple leads are a gimmick. I know how to build and am an electrician. A single lead can handle more power then 2 equaling the same wire size. Just saying. Worry about the size of the lead not the number of them. Those are fairly hefty leads and the power the sub is rated for should have no issues with what they are using.
@@mattadams7922 also an builder and electrician, I've had several subs fail from burned tenssiles, I know that the gauge is more important but they don't just burn out in audio for no reason. It's on of the weaker points of a sub, if the solder is bad or the glue is bad or the tensile is thick but loose and not tightly wound it's a n issue. I don't trust tensile leads unless it's dual or triple, or flat wound because I know it's not fluffed.

Sundown just came out with a X-12 V3 that I just got in from d4s. It is supposed to be a HUGE upgrade frome your V2. Maybe a good contender. I just got the taramps 3k smart and can't wait to wire it up to 0 gauge, already have a new battery but I'm a otr truck driver so it will be another month before I get it installed.

Can't tell between the SUV rattling and the sub mechanical noise. Should maybe try box outside the vehicle to give it some justice ? You need to sound deaden the hell out of that poor thing. Love how stoked you get though. Keep having fun. It's what it's all about and it's contagious!

Was planning on going with 2 sundown zv6 15’s but after seeing and hearing this I think I’ve decided on 2 of the new BRICKHOUSE 15’s after checking their site and getting specs, hell of price difference as well not including the discount. Glad I didn’t pull the trigger yet on the zv6’s because I don’t think these will disappoint!
That thing is a Beast of a sub for $400. Awesome deal if you have a monster amplifier and good electrical. Trying to power 2 of those would be a lot for most people lol. I don't really know too many people that daily a 7.5k amp with proper electrical to back it up, but there's not much bass in the Northeast these days. Maybe that kind of setup is more common in the South.
I've got 2 SkV2-3500.1 Amps Strapped on 2 12" VXFs as my daily in my Jetta...I have yet to see anyone else in VT with even half the amount of power unfortunately....

Definitely not better than a godfather. Godfather same rated power but better frequency. Godfather has lower Fs and definitely plays lower.

Another way of thinking about it, subwoofers are ac, so for that 3000 rms you're looking at 55amps of current thru that single lead.

WOW so good I think it will do 6000 RMS watts LOVE IT!!
Its got a 450oz magnet. Motor peaks at 4500 plus the resin to the coil is the only reason it can handle burps of 6k watts. 6k peak not 6krms
Owner told me they'd handle 8k as long as it's clean

450 oz magnet= 4500 watts. The black resin to the coil will also help the coil take more power.

CT SOUNDS EXO has a 4 inch voice coil and is an amazing line of audio. You should do a review on the exo and meso 12

That thing is a Beast of a sub for $400. Awesome deal if you have a monster amplifier and good electrical. Trying to power 2 of those would be a lot for most people lol. I don't really know too many people that daily a 7.5k amp with proper electrical to back it up, but there's not much bass in the Northeast these days. Maybe that kind of setup is more common in the South.
I've got 2 SkV2-3500.1 Amps Strapped on 2 12" VXFs as my daily in my Jetta...I have yet to see anyone else in VT with even half the amount of power unfortunately....

Any orion thats hcca will cook any and all of these.....check out orion in australia youtube channel. Thing is any full bridge taramps or whatever rolls off stupid fast below 50hz. Emf audio shows how bad it is..
