Not transparent enough. One can still see lots of white inside the pearl. You should let sago sit in the pot simmering for longer. 30 minutes boiling plus 1 hour sitting in pot. That should do it good.
@@RamaDevi333 People usually eat sago as a dessert. So basically, adding sugar is a must. Other than that, you can add in any syrup of any flavor you like. Or any fruit chops, slices, juice, any thing like that. A lot of Chinese people like to make a kind of sweet porridge together with sago, red sweet rice, red bean, or green bean (mung bean), kidney bean, canned palm seeds, Chinese red date, barely seed, millet, lotus seed, etc. Lots of different choices. If you are interested in a typical one, you can search for recipe for Babaozhou Chinese sweet congee. It tastes good, especially after cooled down in fridge over a night.
Incredibly biring video with tedious process. Its a simple method to cook big sago. Soak it for 12hrs or overnight & cook it, ONCE. Then use it for kichidi, potato roti, curd sago, payasam etc ...
Thank you sooo much I tried it this way and cooked in boiling water for about 2 mins and it was perfectly done..now I am enjoying it with my ice coffee love from Srilanka ....
