Fantastic Sago pearls IP recipe. Thanks for sharing
🙌🏼😊

yummy !!

This is not quick at all , you can rinse and soak sago couple hours and then steam cook for 5-6 mins and perfectly cooked sago ready
is sago like the same as boba pearls? Can it be used in the same way?
Sago has the same texture as tapioca/boba pearls, but it takes a lot longer to cook. We don’t recommend using the the cook times in this video for cooking tapioca/boba because they might just end up disintegrating them 😂
Why do you have to take them out and put them back in for a second round? What is the difference of cooking the sago for an hour instead of 2 thirty-minute intervals?
From our experience, if you cook the sago nonstop for an hour, the sago end up breaking and still have a white center.
PRO TIP: If you want to save your Sago, submerge them in a simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar) and refrigerate. The Sago should be consumed within 1-2 days.
Also, these cook cannot be applied to dark/brown/colored tapioca pearls. Otherwise they’ll disintegrate 😳
