+luis granja Oh, Sleeper is also an amazing band if you're looking for that "praise god" aspect. I'm not a religious man but these bands are incredible.
I'm not a Christian nor am i affiliated with any organized religion. Me loving this song just shows how music knows no boundaries. Try to focus more on what brings us together, not what tears us apart.
Think about it.. The level of skill these guys have and their hearts for playing are extremely high. And the lyrics. They aren't just singing "baby baby" over and over again. What they sing about has a message and a meaning. And in my opinion, that's what makes this music truly amazing. Plus they're just awesome.
So true! not like the juvenile rap shit that so many people think is hard and thought-provoking. Metal and punk music remains the most balls-out-in-your-face musical composition!
I have a huge amount of respect for these guys, they just have so much talent. I may not listen to Metalcore that much these days but these guys were a huge part of my life and youth back in High-school. Keep up the amazing work ABR, loved the new single from their upcoming album as well!
Metal555Fan Yeah, I'm mostly in the BDM sections of music, but I do have those days where I have to revisit my old favorite bands from highschool as well. haha.
+GetScaredGaming These guys and Phinehas are, at least from a technical perspective, the best. My favorites are Phinehas, Silent Planet, Mouth of the South (now renamed Rival Choir), Fit for a King, ABR, etc. :)
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez Seriously one of the best shows I've probably been to. Next to seeing Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage. The Frozen Flame tour was insanely good. BTW they closed it off with Empire. Also sucks you weren't able to see them. You'll get your chance my dude. I promise one day August Burns Red will come to Impericon.
I used to think that Christians couldn't listen to this kind of music.. I used to not really have a favorite genre although I have always loved heavy metal but now I have found my band. : thanks guys keep up the work :)
If you have the chance to see these guys live, take it. They far exceeded my expectations with their talent. Sounds exactly like this studio version if not better!
What I love about August Burns Red is that they can put every element in a metalcore song and don't sound weird. Listen to that 2:05 part, that's freaking badass!
Watched this video so many times now, and every time I re-watch 1:47 - 2:37 at least once, usually twice. It's just so good! "Who You are is all we want. It burns inside us all! We're finding heart and giving soul. We're walking home into thin air singing, 'Oh whoa ow oh oh!'" Love it!
Saw August burns red, Fit For A King, Northlane, and Miss May last night at Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma city. Was so freakin awesome. Loved every minute of it. My Bud and his 6 year old daughter were there. She rocked it! Can never learn to listen to awesome music to early in life.
I just wish I could go back in time and watch these guys live again. Saw them last summer and holy fuck, they were so amazing! The bass hit your chest so hard!
All you are is all we want. It burns inside us all. We're finding heart in giving soul. We're walking home into thin air singing... 1:47 Chills every time. 🙏🏼😎✌🏼
very good subject the truth that they have been a blessing for my life the best for their lives *excellent choir in the minute **2:05* fantastic *congratulations brothers*
Sometimes I wish people could see the talent that these guys have as a whole, you guys are fantastic , I've learned most of all your songs on guitar and just recently covered this song, this song is fucking awesome to jam to it gives me chills
When I saw them in Milwaukee this month, they fucking rocked!! When they started to play this song and 2:04 came up, it was just the best thing ever. Loved that they played empire, Loved that I saw them in concert, can't wait until next time!
really shouldnt listen to this song at night it just strengthens my energy and makes me go crazy cuz this song is PURE AWESOMENESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
ABR, talent wise, is unmatched by any metal band. I personally grew up listening to them, and to be honest they're the only "metalcore" band I can listen to and fully enjoy. Most other metal core bands have the classic girly cleans and really generic breakdowns and verses. That style fucking kills me, like most of the shit at warped tour. ABR and some melodic hardcore like the ghost inside are the only metal I can listen to. They really have a unmatched sound as far as other bands, I guess metal core was just a easy label to slide them in...
I am not religious nor believe in organized religion of today, but up lifting music isn't bad or evil just cuz its heavy and some people can't understand them.

It's a music video. Of course it's fake. The audio track is laid over the video. That's why we can hear Dustin (bassist) scream when he doesn't have a mic, or Matt drum when he doesn't have the proper drum mic setup. It's not supposed to be accurate like a surveillance video. Music videos are works of art just like the songs they depict.
After all those years still one of the best metalcore songs ever .

When you're so metal that the stones surrounding start to mosh....

They use the power of rock to power there instraments
+Luis Pérez I really lol
when you one up the band with the hardcore vibe (napalm death)

Praise God with joyful noise.
Amen, is so rare to see a band praise God in this age this is why this guys and for today are my favorite.
+luis granja Oh, Sleeper is also an amazing band if you're looking for that "praise god" aspect. I'm not a religious man but these bands are incredible.
INdeed they are thanks for pointing them out,
Brandon Sarver i think that they have more nonreligious than religious fans
amen!!!!

I couldn't agree more.
Very nicely phrased too, I might add.
Very well said. I am the same way.
I agree music is just music. love it.
Ok, I'm a Christian, and Sharewith, if you have that sort of mind set, guess what bud, I'M not the one to judge you. That's God's job. Rock on guys.
***** 0/10
I love how casual and simple they look
Just normal people doing what they love
The elitists are the worst metalheads. My opinion: the metal community wouldn't be so "thrown aside" without them.
In the words of From Autumn to Ashes, "when did the music become a beauty pageant?" 🤘
You haven't seen Parkway Drive then, i presume
That's the metalcore sort of style, the simple, casual look.

The breakdown in the end is still one of the greatest breakdowns of all time
I am praying that my mother may have some peace of mind in the wake of the recent passing of her mother. May grandma talk down to us from heaven!
I used to think that Christians couldn't listen to this kind of music.. I used to not really have a favorite genre although I have always loved heavy metal but now I have found my band. : thanks guys keep up the work :)

My first experience of ABR was this song. I used to blast this over and over in my basement. Loved them then and still today!
I love the energy they bring out in this video! this is what a music video should be. the band playing the song. not some short movie lol
Agreed
Honestly the most amazing band to have graced my ears. You guys were instrumental in fostering my faith, well done and Thank you. God Bless!
If you have the chance to see these guys live, take it. They far exceeded my expectations with their talent. Sounds exactly like this studio version if not better!

I remember when this song released, vividly remember those High school days
Pure genious.
im not the only one thinking that to
This song is amazing. Not quite ABR's biggest fan, but I simply adore this song.
One thing I have always liked about ABR is that they look like normal dudes and they are in it only for the music.
Probaly my favorite abr song right here
These guys and As I Lay Dying are my two favorite metalcore bands. :)
Such a great song! So far these guys and Parkway Drive are my favorite bands from the metalcore genre.
Love you guys ❤ can't wait for you guys to come back home with TIJ. I love my hometown band's oh so much ❤💛
This song was absolutely insane at Warped!
Hay algo en ellos que me encanta no sé qué es,será su forma sencilla de ser o de su letra o de su música,no se pero me encanta
