Welcome to the Garden! In this video, my dad and I work on a project building a garden shed over a root cellar to prepare for the Summer harvest.

There is nothing so satisfying in life than a loving father/daughter relationship.
Emily your Father has taught you well in life !!! I can see you will be able to carry on in his gracefully older time of years !!! Glad you have the Garden Shed dug into the ground also it will help in keeping food frozen and also the root vegs cold and not to freeze in there !!! I know your Father has got the chest freezer in the basement of the new log cabin this is great as it is needed there with the COLD WEATHER we are to have in the USA & CANADA this next winter months !!! Put solar panels somewhere on the roof or on the south side of the shed that will keep the place running for you Emily !!!

THE GARDEN IS LOOKING AMAZING... I'M SO ENVIOUS.
It is looking amazing!! I live in a very metropolitan are and am lucky enough to have found a corner acre sized lot with a home and large yard. That being said, I also am envious of this but have made the best of what I have. If you have any amount of land I highly suggest starting gardens. I currently have 7 veggie gardens and many flower beds/pots around the property. Gardening is a very satisfying thing to do especially when it comes to harvest time.

I love to watch your Dad cook. He is a great cook, and usually has a balanced meal. So glad you have the property and the soil for such a nice garden. Your Dad has so many talents besides building. When I was a kid, 65 yrs ago, good sheets were a 'given'. My mom didn't have to spend a lot for good sheets. Through the years I noticed sheets available in the U. S. weren't quality any more. Not at all. Then I noticed they are there, but you have to pay a fortune. I haven't paid a fortune, but I have upgraded and you're right, Emily, good sheets make all the difference!! I'm proud of you, because you're not lazy, you're industrious, faithful, and so responsible. You have goals and consistently work towards them. God bless you, from far north California

The difference in that garden since you took over is astounding! I'm sure it will be more productive now because keeping the soil replenished, weeds pulled and watering will be easier. Well done! I just love the way you work with your dad .i have two daughters and I’m never more happy when one of my girls works with me on a project . I do car mechanics & my youngest daughter is right there under he lift helping & taking pictures . Your making your dad very happy and doing a great job.👍🇨🇦🛠

No need to apologise Emily, I understand that life can be very busy. Your new bedlinen looks great. Your dad mentioned last week that you had been building a garden shed and that you and he would be finishing it soon. It will be a marvellous root cellar and vegetable store. Lunch looked yummy with garden fresh veg with strawberries in the salad, whenever I went to The Netherlands they always had strawberries in the salad too..

Everything is looking great lots of garden beds and they are doing great. Nice shed for storage and root cellar, apologizes are not necessary it is a busy time of year with work and doing everything you can to provide a healthy living and set up a home .
