Haha ... love it Emma. The forest 'dripping'. Especially if its just that quiet little pitter patter of raindrops hitting fallen pine needles or beech leaves :D
Welcome! My first real taste of hiking in the south island mountains in NZ! Can't believe this was all I got to see, but hopefully there'll be plenty more of this to come!
Absolutely, sometimes hiking in the rain is one of the best experiences. Although I have to say I ended up getting VERY wet and cold on the return trip back to town. It poured down!
I just love hiking in the rain it’s so special. The sounds of the forest dripping. My idea of heaven. I’ll look forward to your next vlog 😃

Love that area! Takes me back...enjoy the blue lake 😁
Unfortunately didn't get to make it to Blue Lake on this trip, but it's on the bucket list for next time!
Awesome content, love the sceneries and you did a great job editing.
Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
Come join me back on the TA for a mini-hike through to Lakehead Hut, the first hut on the TA section south of St Arnaud!
Finally you hike again 💪
Haha, you can't keep me away from the trails!
Miserable day but it’s still absolutely stunning scenery, gives it a mystical feel with the rain and low cloud

Just heard about the earthquake in NZ. Hope you are safe!
Thanks very much! Aside from being woken in the night and not being able to get back to sleep, I am safe and well. Thanks for checking in!
