Hi 👋 I've been watching your videos for a while now and watched them all from the beginning up till now. I live in a small old house/cottage here in Sweden in a somewhat rustic manner. So that's one of the many reasons i like watching your videos. Always great content, even the boring "same same" days because they show real life. I really liked watching you build the tiny house. I would have liked to have seen more details or have them sort of explained. So about your bathroom build in the house. I'd really enjoy having the process and what goes in to a build like that more explained since I don't know anything about building except in really really broad terms. Just to get a sense of what might be doable in my own house. (I lack a shower, washing machine and hot water atm.) Keep going with the videos and Happy New Year! 🎉🎆

If I can pull the money together for any of the renovations I’d definitely make it an in depth version. Tiny house was just a fast get it made quick project to get out of the cold. I found it interesting to hear about your plans either they will come to live or not. Maybe you shouldn’t keep saying so often that your vlog is boring, it might put some people off. Another thing, why is it called Nordskov, is it just a made up name or danish for ”north forest”? Anyway, a happy 2023 to you! I hope it brings you lots of cheap timber!
I wonder if it would not be easier and cheaper to build a new house. Straw build or something like that. Don’t know if that would work in your climate. (I know you don’t want to build with tires). Anyways, happy new year! But is it now sure you are staying where you are?
Nothing is for certain apart from the obvious. New build of size would require a paid permit, plans and clearance.. which ends up costing a lot before it even begins. I’m trying to get out of the tiny house to be honest! Not sure what’s happening still so hoping to find out soon… happy new year bud and I hope your well?
Doing well! Coming to Sweden in march to look at houses….now just figuring out where we want to be and what we exactly want…..and the budget off course

Would love to just do a new build but of course I don’t have the money upfront to do so or the amount of forest to harvest and replant to do a new log cabin. Anyway hope the March trip is fruitful and you find a beauty of a place. Where’s on the list of potential areas?
what tools do you have? off grid.do you have a genny?just finished the same thing up north here in arvidsjaur with ryobi battery tools.the local sawmill here has weathered old stock timber which they sell off cheaper,might be worth an ask at your local sawmill.stuff here is v expensive ive learnt.maybe chat up your local cabin reform co for second hand windows.good now you got a blank page to fill in.keep it up.happy new year.
I pretty much have all the tools I need to build from bought in materials. Local sawmill is all but closed down unfortunately. I’m always on the look out for windows!! Managed to get the ones for the tiny house so I’m hoping some more appear. Really wish I had enough forest to use for the full renovations but it would mean taking down the whole lot and processing it all would take a long while.
