- A Pokemon Evolutions Booster Box is opened in this video. The Evolutions set is brand new and today is the official release date. This is part 2 of the booster box opening, and overall I had amazing pulls with this box, even though I'm still hunting for the Charizard holo. I hope that means I'll continue having great luck with Evolutions openings in the future when I open the Elite Trainer Boxes and Blister Packs. This box was $94.99 from Collector's Cache.

i've now watched all of your 94 booster box unboxing videos in your playlist, and i just have to say; i love how excited you get when you get a nice card!! other pokemon tcg youtubers i'v watcher are so meh when they open something really cool, and it makes it kinda awkward for us that may not have the money and stuff to open loads of packs, or may not have that many cards.

Oh, and I love the holo pattern on these cards as well, and that there's a Flying Pikachu secret rare card in this set. I bought a Surfing Pikachu online recently and love the look of it and the Flying Pikachu card.
I like the secret rares too, would have liked to see them as reverse holo or holo cards though.
What copyright issues was primetime talking about in this video when he was mentioning kadabra and alakazam?
I believe a magician sued Wizards of the Coasts for printing a Kadabra card.
Zack kadabra was also removed for being considered antisemitic due to the star and lightning bolts.
The magician PTP is talking about is none other than the fraudulent spoon-bender Uri Geller, who took Nintendo to court for about $100 million for the depiction of Kadabra painting him as an evil, occult Nazi wizard. The case was apparently thrown out of court, but I guess Nintendo and The Pokémon Company decided it was best for Kadabra to never be used again after the incident.
Very disappointing too, since the Alakazam Base Set line is one of my favorites.
But they thought of as that alakazam should've been banned since it was in the evolution line but they still printed Mega Alakazam
Why is kadabra not printed? I can't even remember the last time we had normal cards for that pokemon
Copyright issues, Pokemon was sued my a magician claiming they made Kadabra based off of him.

I bought a full case of this set and after 4boxes i had the complete set. I was only missing a mewtwo ex full art 103/108, which i ordered from ebay. So still got two sealed boxes left that i will keep stashed for some years :)

Absolutely, and after some research i found out that there a prerelease charizards with a"staff" stamp on them. I just had to pick one up as i believe that card is going to explode in value! They are going for roughly 300 usd now on ebay, so already pricy!
ptp i have two questions for you, what are your thoughts on pokemon gx cards, and what are your thoughts on weighing booster packs
GX cards are very interesting, since you can only use one the entire game, and I am not a fan of pack weighing, takes away all of the fun.
What's the difference between the Mega Charizard Y EX from this set and the Mega Charizard Y EX from Flash Fire?
Exact same card besides different artwork.

Im opening my first ever booster box tomorrow and this is the one i decided to go with. Im chasing the holo charizard of course bc as a kid i always wanted it and never got it. And my base set binder was stolen from me.. Had everything except the charizard lined up. Oh well forgive and forget, right? If anyone is seeing this in 2020 wish me luck :)

Full Art Dragonite EX, Full Art Mega Charizard EX (my favourite), Mega Slowbro EX, Mega Blastoise EX, Charizard EX, Venasaur EX, Pidgeot EX, Machamp Break, Starmie Break.
Holos: Machamp, Charizard, Magneton, Ninetails, Chansey, Hitmonchan
Reverse Holo: Nidoking, Charizard, Gyarados, Poliwrath, Zapdos, Chansey, Ninetails, Mew plus uncommon or common reverse holos.

What do you mean by "copyright issues" with Kadabra? Doesn't Pokemon own the artwork? Also, why wouldn't the starter final evolutions be in there?

So can they not make the abra line in any new TCG sets?
Abra and Alakazam are fine, but you can't get to Alakazam without Kadabra.

Hey! The only reason i bought packs from this set, was to pull the old holo cards, but I've had a hard time pulling those, and I'm actually pulling more ex cards than holo rares, in 20 packs, I've pulled 8 ex cards and 4 holo cars(two of which being the same card). Are the holo rates in this set more rare than usual, or am i just having bad luck?
With the XY series sets, EX cards and holo cards have about the same rarity, 1 in 6 packs, so you're just having more luck with the EX cards. If you don't mind buying them online, holo cards from this set, other than Charizard are dirt cheap.

Pulled an Charizard full art in my 6the booster pack wasn't gonna buy it and all but just had a bit of change in my pocket iv never felt Jollibee did last Monday haha
just curious why you don't consider break cards as ultra rares?
Mainly because they come in the reverse holo spot and don't count towards the 12 combined holo and ultra rares you get in a box.
I opened a booster pack and I got a flying pikachu and I'm going to open up four more boosters packs still looking for the surfing pikachu.

what I never understand is why pokemon gives you a reverse holo per pack. it should be like base set and have a holo card or something every 2 or 3 packs. and really, a "rare" card shouldn't be in every pack. but that is just me
I pulled a Charizard in this set and on the top it says "put charizard on the stage 1 pokemon" but Charmeleon is stage 2. What does it mean by that?
Mudig Chameleon is stage 1 and charizard is stage 2
it goes from basic to stage 1 and then to stage 2

Has anyone ever seen an evolutions booster box with all rare cards in the packs? I got a box recently and only opened 4 packs . And got 5 charizards,3venasaurs,3 mewtwos, 2 pidgeots , and many other rares only

I think I got unlucky and received a dud box from them. My box only had one break, 3 Ex's and 2 full arts. I also got the same secret rare 3 times and then got 2 repeats of the same holos. Overall, I was very disappointed but I think I just got unlucky.
