- A Pokemon TCG Sun and Moon Booster Box is opened in this video. I open the last 18 packs of the booster box in this video. Pokemon Sun and Moon is the newest set in the Pokemon TCG, just coming out yesterday, it is the first set to include GX cards, 7th Generation Pokemon, as well as Alolan Pokemon. I was very happy with this box overall, pulling several new GX cards, including a Hyper Rare. I am really looking forward to open more Sun and Moon products in the future, this will be a very fun, and expensive set to collect!

Glad to hear that, of course I prefer myself over others too, but I know both of those channels are very popular, it is a good thing there is so much variety out there, each person had their own style they like best, so you can gravitate towards certain channels.
Professor Sycamore unlisted leaf is decent, but he seems to open packs using the fifa youtuber method. by putting over the top music and even the same tracks that fifa youtubers use when they pull a good player rather than a good card. ptp keeps it a lot simpler without the need for over dramatic music and sound effects, or jumping around the room diving on stuff.
I know that style appeals to a lot of people, it is almost a comedic style channel, but I am more straightforward, I try to be more of a relaxing and informational channel. no over the top reactions or misleading titles.

It was a solid box overall, I've been asking around and it seems like the secret rares in this set are very tough to pull!

You are correct, that is why it was more than 10 years of collecting before I could even afford 1 booster box.

Toxapex rare is probably the best pull lol. Just because it is going to be the new meta. Once the GX comes out, it will be unstoppable. Run verbank city gym, poison barb with it. It's insane. This makes Toxicroak from Steam Siege extremely playable now as well.
Lunala GX is pretty nice. Best GX attack wise from your box. I love the new energy design. Good stuff man.

You got some good pulls, a lot of rare reverse holos but just one hyper rare. I guess this hyper rares are really hard to get!

Good luck, they are tough to pull and expensive to buy! Probably the reason I like this set so much.
Yes I'm going to need it! Yes, I too am very happy about it in western release. The pulls from the ETB's I've seen so far have been great. The secret rares in this set are fantastic too! And loving the energy cards though I'm sure they won't continue through with this with other sets (hence why card packets still say 10 cards only! -my guess at least) Shame about the japanese releases of this and SM1+, I'm not collecting the japanese master sets though I'd love too, too much money and terrible pulls :( It's funny how a great set can border the line of great.... obviously in the western set you're receiving relatively standardised pulls! but I've seen many jp sm1+ boxes with no full arts and 3 gx's, mostly repeats, repeated prints, tiny commons section, and a half complete energy set of which you'll also collect ridiculous duplicates if attempting a master set! And yet, all the same things that make that set bad, help make western sun moon good! Crazy... fine line!

Hey Prime, do you have any idea of why the SM triple blister packs seem to have guaranteed pulls? I have watched several openings, and I, myself have opened 7 of them and there was 1 Holo or better in every single one. It seems impossible to get more than 1 or less than 1 in a triple blister!
I don't know for sure why that would be, I can't imagine they have started guaranteed pulls like that.
Well it seems the Checlane blisters, booster boxes, and elite trainer boxes still have varied pulls. I have watched Jeff, Jordan Japan, Pokémon Evolutionaries and more and they all got exactly one holo or better. By the way when will you open up a SM Triple blister?
I'm not sure on that, for now my plan is Elite Trainer box on Sunday, and Saturday, Wednesday I'll be opening 10 Sun and Moon booster packs, so potentially next Sunday.

So, the first Sun & Moon pack I ever opened, my rare was the secret Ultra Ball. I was a tad bit disapointed, but then I looked up card values, and apparently it can go for $100-$150, and is the most valuable English Sun & Moon card... I don't know if that's changed at all, though.
It is easily the most valuable card in the set, right now it is worth $85 or so.

Primetime, do you prefer GX than EX? Cuz I definitely do. I think they did the best thing by getting rid of them, as they were around for 2 Gens. 3 if you count ex series

In my booster box I got a Lunala GX hyper rare.
That would have been an amazing card to pull!

I usually only try for all of the holos, ultra rares, and secret rares in a set, but with how many packs I open, I usually get the complete set, but I don't go or the master set usually.
Ya that's awesome man. I hope I can win a set of cards from ya lol. I'm gona go and buy a box of the new sun and moon here soon to. Hopefully pull sum hyper Rares from it.

What is difference from EX and GX
AnTiic ex cards were in the Pokemon tcg for a while all the way up to the end of xy evolutions. Pokemon wanted to take a whole new approach with gx cards instead of ex cards. As of now, there are no ex cards, just gx cards.
GX cards are used differently than EX cards, only one GX specified move can be used per game.
are there non online places to buy booster boxes?
PeytonYoung your local trading cards specialty store/ comic book store should carry them.
Retail stores like Target and Walmart do not sell booster boxes, but places like card shops, comic book stores, and stores that have Pokemon leagues should carry them.
