@ANDY LUMEH - Rich Singer Songwriter, Producer Yeah…the Stones “owned” by Bobby Womack? Don’t think so…While they did cover “It’s All Over Now” way back in 1964 and it was indeed a big hit for them at the time, Bobby Womack is no longer alive and their first big hit was Satisfaction. It’s true that The Stones made a huge career for themselves bringing Black music to White audiences, but saying the Stones are owned by Bobby Womack is hardly true at all. They covered a number of Blues artists’ songs over the years, in addition to creating many of their own songs, which have made their career.

The Greatest Rock and Roll band ever. Their catalog is huge. I was 8in Dec 64, and the Beatles had arrived. On X-mas day I got a small plastic record player and one 45 record, it was The Rolling Stones. Side 1 was Satisfaction side 2 was As Tears go B.y. There it began.

Their catalog is so deep and rich. Blues, R&B, pop, rock, blues rock, psychedelia, disco, punk, and there’s even some baroque -styled songs, too.
The Stones are like four bands in one. The Brian Jones years, the brief time where there was basically one guitarist (from which Let It Bleed came from), the Mick Taylor years with his virtuosity, and then finally the Ron Wood era. Each era distinct and important to the story of this wonderful band.

Think about this the richest family in the country (the waltons) whose patriarch sam Walton (1918-1992) founded walmart in spring of 1962. Now 61 years later and 4000 US locations its the largest company by revenue and the largest employer w 2 million + US associates ..meanwhile but adjacent in spring of 1962 in the uk one of the greatest garage rock/british r&b/rock bands formed...and also 61 years later thousands of shows, dozens of studio albums 100s of original N cover songs, numerous bandmates, great highs n tragedies, 100s of millions of records sold, they are still rocking and dancing..its quite a story

18:45 is hella weird to me, I always hear “making love to yourself is the ultimate experienc” like it’s a normal fantasy, but to me it’s indicative of being very self absorbed. If a girl looked exactly like me I would not be into it and I’d pass it up
