I was blown away. I"ve watched these girls for three years now, and they never stop surprising me. I'm so happy they got to do this Musical. I especially love how it all ends. It turns out they were the Council all along!

Lunacy of Duke Venomania was PERFECT for Kronii! I love that she got to sing a mothy song so fitting for both her and her character! AND THEN getting to sing SYNCHONICITY IN ENSEMBLE?! IT'S JUST SO PEAK! KRONII LOVE!

This was an absolutely brilliant, uniquely "Promise" creation! I love how dedicated you were to storytelling with the choreography and dance performances themselves (for example: puppet Moom during Fauna's solo), the semi-Shakespearean dialogue was great fun, everyone's vocal performances were as incredible as we know you all are, and the whole musical production was very innovative in the Holo/vtubing/idol world - both in concept and execution! I'm sure this whole thing was an ABSURD amount of work for all of you, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result, nor more proud of all of you ^-^ Thank you all so much for the hard work you put in to creating wonderful things for us; I'm so glad you all got to create this work of art and friendship together, and I hope you are all proud of yourselves 🤎💚💖❤💙 EDIT: To add that the book scene transition and all the work to make the stage in to a part of the story was also just incredibly cool :D
The second act in the owl forest and the song that followed has that classic folklore/fantasy feel. Mumei popped off and the girls reactions as she told them the scary story was too cute for this world 😭 Brilliant, absolutely brilliant
OK wait the remix of "Our Promise" calling back to "Rise" on the transition into the minor key with that chord progression on the organ??? And that church bell too? That's intentional yes? This is high tier music arrangement bro holy... Here to give Robson his flowers on that. And kudos again to the composers on "Rise" too bc that organ intro is so good 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 EDIT: Added mention of the church bell bc it didn't stand out to me at first, it's like the part of the church bell in "Rise" is being played by the organ instead here but transposed I think? I almost didn't catch it.

This was super cool. I really enjoyed the story beats inbetween over random MC moments. I think this was a super super good proof of concept for this format. I'd love to see something like this again!

The girls were absolutely amazing but I have to point this out. The 3D studio went all out with the pop-up book turned into stages and settings and the camera work has leveled up!
The staging, the acting, the musical performances... This was ART. This was an absolute WORK OF ART ! There's no other way to describe what we all bear witness today. That opening was peak cinema. Immediately recognized that unmistakable art style of the goat who made Myth's Bad Ending. And the narration... perfect 🤘
So from what i understand , there was no Dark Lord from the start . Their adventure was never to defeat the Dark Lord but to make friends. But in this timeline , they were never friends , therefore a broken promise . At the end , they all turned into the Dark Lords themselves , now they are finally bonded but in a bad way
Listen to the opening voiceover again. The narrator lists five traits of the Dark One, and each one applies to one of the five main characters. Kronii's character is consumed by lust, Mumei's by greed, Fauna's is manipulative, Irys' is consumed by jealousy, and Bae's by vanity.

Honestly I am way more impressed than I thought I'd be. The acting was actually good enough to carry a script that was mostly ernest in intent. I had expected several layers of irony in this as a sort of shield for performances, but I was pleasantly surprised not to really find that. A uniqie and interesting Vtuber project, and well executed.
Man, I love Promise! This was an incredible performance! Utter R-rolling, note-belting, dance-moving PEAK! I did theatre back in college and this brought me back, even though I've never done a musical. Promise is Forever! ❤💙💚🤎💖
What a creative treat! As a fan of theatre (having watched many touring Broadway productions live) and knowing Hololive's style, I found this a great artistic blend. The singing and choreography were well done as usual, but the "actors'" dialogue and the stage blocking were an excellent show of talent previously unseen. In fact, I'd say those were my favorite aspects. A hearty "bravo" to Promise and all involved. And the bow at the end was such a nice detail.

This was such a blast of a musical! Everyone did so well but what impressed me the most is how the choreos and songs mixed so well with the narration of the story. The writing was really good and every performance was a roller-coaster of emotions where each one of them managed to give their own “touch” with their personality. And oh boy, 3d is amazing because you can really see a lot of the body language also the dancing gives so much justice in combination of the singing (I was never much into idols but in this case, this is the unique exception! I love the Hololive ones!) The voice acting was peak and I always have the impression that they keep improving in every single concert/event I witnessed so far! Training and studying really make a difference (you girls are amazing thank you for the hard work and for keeping it up) ^^ Honestly gifting this to us fans at half of December was quite the treat so thank you so much everybody for everything and not just the talents but also the staff and all the people involved into organizing and developing all of this :)... Man, watching this for free?! Really?! I can only dare to imagine the workload to create this musical and fitting each one with their own role but more than that? Putting all of this together with a lot of thought of the fans and their own respective Oshis. Not gonna lie, IRyS is always my favourite but I equally loved the performances from Kronii, Fauna, Mumei and Bae! Liz as a narrator then was crazy incredible with her skillful voice acting. The musical really had so many different peak moments! It was simply the best for me when it came to the singing and dancing. Honestly I’m already so hyped to see more in the future! Thank you for taking good care of the talents!

Kronii and her unlimited rizz rewinds, IRyS maybe selling her soul to a demon, Mumei stealing enough things to feed a small nation. The list just goes on and on...
This was so unbelievably peak, everything about this was so amazing, the animation in the beginning, the choreographic angles, amazing song choices, the well detailed stages, the beautiful performance, and each song fitting their characters/role in the story while keeping the story suspenseful and comedic at the same time. every song choice had its own harmony which makes each performance beautiful. This was an absolutely brilliant, uniquely "Promise" creation! I love how dedicated you were to storytelling with the choreography and dance performances themselves (for example: puppet Moom during Fauna's solo), the semi-Shakespearean dialogue was great fun, everyone's vocal performances were as incredible as we know you all are, and the whole musical production was very innovative in the Holo/vtubing/idol world - both in concept and execution! I'm sure this whole thing was an ABSURD amount of work for all of you, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result, nor more proud of all of you ^-^ Thank you all so much for the hard work you put in to creating wonderful things for us; I'm so glad you all got to create this work of art and friendship together, and I hope you are all proud of yourselves 🤎💚💖❤💙

So from what i understand , there was no Dark Lord from the start . Their adventure was never to defeat the Dark Lord but to make friends. But in this timeline , they were never friends , therefore a broken promise . At the end , they all turned into the Dark Lords themselves , now they are finally bonded but in a bad way

Kronii's character is consumed by lust, Mumei's by greed, Fauna's is manipulative, Irys' is consumed by jealousy, and Bae's by vanity.

Honestly I am way more impressed than I thought I'd be. The acting was actually good enough to carry a script that was mostly ernest in intent. I had expected several layers of irony in this as a sort of shield for performances, but I was pleasantly surprised not to really find that. A uniqie and interesting Vtuber project, and well executed.

What a creative treat! As a fan of theatre (having watched many touring Broadway productions live) and knowing Hololive's style, I found this a great artistic blend. The singing and choreography were well done as usual, but the "actors'" dialogue and the stage blocking were an excellent show of talent previously unseen. In fact, I'd say those were my favorite aspects.
A hearty "bravo" to Promise and all involved.
And the bow at the end was such a nice detail.
That was amazing!! Such a fun story, and those musical numbers were phenomenal!
Not gonna lie, I teared up pretty good toward the end... I'm glad you all got to be together for this... I'll miss moments like these

This was such a blast of a musical!
Everyone did so well but what impressed me the most is how the choreos and songs mixed so well with the narration of the story. The writing was really good and every performance was a roller-coaster of emotions where each one of them managed to give their own “touch” with their personality.
And oh boy, 3d is amazing because you can really see a lot of the body language also the dancing gives so much justice in combination of the singing (I was never much into idols but in this case, this is the unique exception! I love the Hololive ones!)
The voice acting was peak and I always have the impression that they keep improving in every single concert/event I witnessed so far! Training and studying really make a difference (you girls are amazing thank you for the hard work and for keeping it up) ^^
Honestly gifting this to us fans at half of December was quite the treat so thank you so much everybody for everything and not just the talents but also the staff and all the people involved into organizing and developing all of this :)... Man, watching this for free?! Really?!
I can only dare to imagine the workload to create this musical and fitting each one with their own role but more than that? Putting all of this together with a lot of thought of the fans and their own respective Oshis. Not gonna lie, IRyS is always my favourite but I equally loved the performances from Kronii, Fauna, Mumei and Bae! Liz as a narrator then was crazy incredible with her skillful voice acting.
The musical really had so many different peak moments!
It was simply the best for me when it came to the singing and dancing. Honestly I’m already so hyped to see more in the future! Thank you for taking good care of the talents!

Kronii and her unlimited rizz rewinds, IRyS maybe selling her soul to a demon, Mumei stealing enough things to feed a small nation. The list just goes on and on...
This was so unbelievably peak, everything about this was so amazing, the animation in the beginning, the choreographic angles, amazing song choices, the well detailed stages, the beautiful performance, and each song fitting their characters/role in the story while keeping the story suspenseful and comedic at the same time. every song choice had its own harmony which makes each performance beautiful. By far my favorite 3d live I have ever watched. promise will be fovever and always 5
