X4 foundations how to claim a sector for you, or trick NPCs.

- There's three ways to influence wars in X4: Foundations.
To claim sectors for you, or for a NPC faction is one of them.
Helping or harming a NPC faction, without loosing reputation with both of them, is an other one.
In this video, we will see how to:
_ Claim a sector for you.
_ Claim a sector from a NPC faction for your faction.
_ Claim a sector from a NPC faction for an other one.
There's no mods involved, nor editing, just clever use of the game mechanics.

Yes, I really enjoy how NPCs keep interacting with the player, they are ever so polite :-)
The game feel more alive.
You made me laugh @5:50 into the video when your pilot said, _"Hello"_ and you replied, _"Hello"_ too. I do that _ALL_ the time and thought I was mad 8-))...
However. That's a sneaky way to take over a section... _I like it..._ 8-))...
Yes, those interactions are funny to do even for yourself. I remember being kinda upset at station manager that wasn't sending out his miners. Every couple of minutes, he kept saying "hello" even if I was in front of his desk since at least half an hour or more, without moving while managing through the map.
Each time he was saying "hello", I was swearing at him for being : dense, blind, stupid.. name it :-)
I really like how Egosoft manage to give life in our universe.
There's hiccups from time to time, but overall, I really like it.

@@lambdaspace3190 You sound like you're as mad as I am. Sometimes when I want to do something else, I get a captain to fly the ship I'm in. Even if it's an "S" class one.
And on occasions, the captain does something really, really daft. So I have to stop what I'm doing to see what they've done.
_"What...??? How the hell did you get the ship stuck in a bloody great big asteroid like that? Didn't you see it you blithering idiot. What do I pay you for?"_
Or, a real classic...
_"You crashed into a station? A great big _*_**_*_ off station which is the one we were going to... And you crashed into it. And now you're stuck. I'll TP (Teleport!) off and you can meet me when you've sorted this mess out!"_
Or...
I group up with a fleet of mine and get them to follow me into another system to fight some rouge Xenon.
I, being the leader/owner go in first (Being either brave or foolish!) and start the attack. But after a few seconds or so, I'm not hearing any other ships from my fleet firing. So a quick look on the map and I can see that they've not only not followed me into the sector I'm now in, but they actually left the one I just left and are heading back home ASAP.

@@lambdaspace3190 One of my Favorite Part of the game is actually the NPCs.
I have to take all things back.
It still works in 7.1
If you have an supply depot or probably a construction module in your sector, you have to destroy it as well.

somehow i couldnt get this to work. Does this still work? Station turn hostile as soon as i approach it after the module has been destroyed

I haven't got the chance to test it in 4.0 since I try to not get involve in their conflicts for now.
And you are right, I just tried it, and it still work. I got a downgrade for an "unauthorized kill", but I haven't lost reputation with the Antigone (I was at 25, and still is)
Now, we get aggro for doing it, from the station only, which make sense in a way:
_ we destroyed a module
_ we killed countless people that were living/working in that administrative center :-D
I guess, they could be upset :-)
now, that aggro last for about 5 minutes for what I've experienced.
As it used to do when you were using EMP Bomb on modules to steal its blueprint.
And BTW, using EMP bomb doesn't trigger aggro from the station now, and we need to scan only one of the data leak to get the blueprint, and no longer the 4 of them.
@@lambdaspace3190 ya but im still using this Method to destroy NPCs Admin Modules, still good. Fkin Argons need to chill claiming sector after sector. Thx for the Tipp
@@IK0SH at least, you see some action :-) On my game, it's pretty stale for now. The funniest part in my game is in Two Grand: I have an I and 2 K, with their weapons destroyed, that are hanging on a Teladi station. And in Eigtheen Billions, I have a SCA Plunderer that shoot the MIN Warf since the past 2 days, the hull is a 56%.
Terrans, in the meantime, sent a single Asguard, that went in Xenon space, and kill single handed their Defence stations.
I'll do an update this weekend on my game, at more than 7.5 days of gametime now.
