Jenny and i used to enjoy John's Pavilion Concerts (and the cup of tea !) when we lived in Worthing. Sadly, i lost Jenny in 2015, i know she would join me in wishing you all the best, John....long may you make music.
Donald Peers, the cavalier of song! My father thought he was wonderful, naturally, asc a matter of course, not my favourite. I went to the Birmingham Hippadrome in the 60s. Top of the bill, Temperence seven. Supporting act Donald Peers! as far as I was concerned he stole the show. Immaculately dressed, started his signature tune off stage. Had the audience in his total command. Absolutely brilliant. I have seen John Mann many times and bought an Eminent Grand Theatre 2000, I believe his go to organ!! there was something wrong with mine, it never sounded anything like when John played it!! Great entertainer, yes, but superb musician. Thank you John!!
Hallo everyone, I can confirm that it is going to be a very busy year in 2016 with shows all round the country on both pipe organs and my Eminent electronic, including a one-off show at the Worthing Pavilion in May on the Eminent and grand piano. I'm also very pleased to be back at the Brighton Dome playing the magnificent pipe organ there in April. For full details of all my shows, keep an eye on my website: www.johnmann.eu
Hello John, here it's Xavier Oberneck, Bernard's son. I was watching some Wurlitzer videos and TH-cam brought me here. What a pleasure to find your own TH-cam channel. I wanted to express once again all my gratitude for the birthday present that you were willing to prepare for my dad's birthday, he felt extremely touched to receive such a personalised attention from his favourite organist! We are looking forward to meeting you again soon, hopefully at your concert in april at Burtey Fen!
Great to see John on youtube, even better to go to the actual shows. Fabulous concert again at the Wintergardens yesterday, I thoughrily enjoyed it as always. Thanks for an excellent performance John
It's a delight to watch this video!!!! The quality is excellent! John Mann is UK's No. 1 organist, pianist and entertainer and always will be. His versatility is amazing. Only the clip of the Egyptian Sand Dance is a bit too short. Have subscribed the channel. Looking forward to more videos of John.
I am not sure you got that right Daniel , Have a look at his website johnmann.eu for more details as he has been updating new date on his website, as I know that he has booked for 2017 already, ^_^ Cheers
How wonderful, a proper entertainer, not just an excellent musician. Such a rare thing these days.
Had some lovely times at the shows in Worthing and the many places he visited, bringing lots of joy for lots of people.. Thank you John !
