At a glance, this game might look like Nanotek Warrior, but it's quite different. N2O: Nitrous Oxide is a pretty cool and trippy shooter that runs at 60FPS and has lots of colors and explosions. You basically defeat all the enemies and prevent them from becoming too powerful as you cycle "The Torus".
NOTE: This video is currently blocked in Germany by Sony Music Entertainment. Unlike the Rival Schools incident (which was fixed), I can somewhat understand this.

For those who don't know, the soundtrack is the entire "Vegas" album by The Crystal Method.
You are actually missing out on a great hit from the album Vegas, it's not on n2o but it's called High Roller.
Nope, 6 of the 10 songs in this game are from Vegas and the other 4 are remixes

Completely underrated shooter for ps1. It got meeh reviews for being too tempest-alike and focusing on the soundtrack, but suddenly I found myself traveling though the tunnels at 3AM. There are those who get it. And they know.

I think I played this game 100 times before I found out there was a jump button..then another 100 before I found the brake. this is the best game ever to play tripping...

Holy crap! I remember my uncle playing this once, long ago. I distinctly remember the trippy colorful tunnels, a ship and apparently shooting insects. Let alone the distinct line of "come home for milk and cookies" from the manual. Thank you for uploading this. :o
My neighbors brought this game over because they were struggling with it. In less than 24hours I had dominated it. I played the hell out of this game at the fastest speed possible. They’d come over just to watch me play this and SSX tricky. Nobody wanted to play Madden for some reason😊
I don't care how simple the concept may be, the gameplay and soundtrack make up for it. Def one of my top 10 games of all time.

This is high up on my dream remaster list. Just update the graphics and keep the killer soundtrack. It will print money!

The music reminds me of the show I used to watch when I was a kid. The show is called Third Watch! Listen to the theme music and it sounds very similar.
Loved this game. I bought it and my room mate got addicted. He used to get out flight goggles and a cape and put them and zone out to this game for hours on end, I kid you not lol.

Must admit; My eyes tear jerk like crazy when I hear the gameplay along with the added music. However, to focus on the game, I'd turn the songs down to just barely noticeable so I could keep track of the insects I was obliterating at a hell of a blinding pace. I scared many a sighted person playing this game!
I quite like this game, but feel it works better with the camera locked in place.

They updated it. I got mine for 6 bucks, and you can still enable the cheat codes :)

Oh, I watched it all right! My mind's eye was enjoying all of the eye candy. My physical eyes were almost tear jerking to the whole ezxprience! Used to play this game all the time. Only real shooter I could play on PS1. But back then, game developers wanted you to have a gay old time (Flintstones not included)!
