    Fantastic DIY. One of my other vloggers uses an air bed , thought that was good especially if it rains unexpectantly.

    Awesome build ladies! I made the hairpin coffee table last week and will be working on the faux hanging bench this weekend. I'll probably be setting aside a furniture build fun pretty soon lol. Keep up the good work. God bless!

      @@shanty2chic just found y'all and love what you make. :-) I can't find an outdoor swing on your site without it being under a porch. Do you have one? Apologies if I just missed it.

    OMG! I seriously was JUST wanting to do this for my backyard and was hoping you would do a tutorial on this. Ahhhh - dreams do come true! :') Thank you!
    This might be a huge project... but would you folks also do a tutorial on how to build a outdoor patio cover?

    I love it 😍👌🏽☀️ this is a long shot but could you guys maybe make some toddler bunk beds I’ve been searching forever for a good video on TH-cam but can’t seem to find one. I’m sure you guys could make the cutest shanty toddler bunk beds.

    Wow if those backslats were placed on one of the shorter sides and add another top beam, this would make a gorgeous barnstyle canopy bed!

    Adorei! You two ladies have really inspired me to DIY my own furniture. I really have no idea what I am doing but when I watch your videos like this particular I feel that I can totally at least more or less try. Thank you! Ps I purchased a Kreg gig mini version to start off with as well as a few refurb Ryobis. Ciao

    What about weatherproofing the mattress? I mean protecting from sun damage, rain, etc. The only mattress covers I know of are waterproof covers that are really only for the top side of the mattress.

    Love the idea however having all this weight plus the weight of the people sitting on it on just 8 pocket hole screws don’t think it’ll last long I’m afraid.. should’ve recessed the 6 x 6 if u ask me

    anybody got the links to the links to the supplies (bolts/metal angles/ screws/post caps/post bases)..because when you got to the blog..thats where u find the plans..and the plans say "link in the blog" but there are none there or here..and it doesn't look like they are answering any questions in the blog question section or here. But they have a lot of videos posted so I get it.

      Wish I would have read the comments first. No way 60” works. I built the first section and knew right away. Off to buy some more from Home Depot. Definitely should update the plans.

    Should’ve used harder wood or pressure treated

  • @docentbrian7098
    @docentbrian7098 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Good concept and plans. Only problem - not even close to $200. More like $300 with the pergola and hardwareand basic common pine. The plans say that stuff is optional so you’d better think how much it’s worth it to you before you start the project, because it’s not $200 like they pretend.

    • @shanty2chic
      @shanty2chic  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not in Texas! I spent $200 for every piece of lumber and end caps (even the optional). If it was $300 we would say that- $300 is still a dang good price!

    • @setaparthealth3851
      @setaparthealth3851 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1
