I always liked how he never kept the "illegal" money... the $50 he found in the armored car went to the Parking Valet at the Playboy mansion, and the $200 he got from Sidney Bernestien went to the charity that the mayor was attending, donated under Sidney's name.
I'm Gonna Git You Sucka came out in 1988. A year later. BHC2 was the first movie Chris Rock ever appeared in. Eddie Murphy saw him doing stand up at a club, and offered him a chance to fly out to Cali and make a cameo in his next film.
27:21 Good call about Billy being the Tackleberry of the BHC franchise. Both lovable, slightly unhinged menaces, and they even look a little bit alike. (Speaking of Tackleberry, RIP David Graf, who died way too young in the early 2000s, after suffering a sudden heart attack at his brother’s wedding, if I’m not mistaken.)
As much as I love the first film, this second outing really finds its groove with the action and comedy, under the slick direction of Tony Scott. I actually loved Brigitte Nielsen as the main henchwoman in this. I thought it suited her perfectly:)
My favorite of the trilogy. Directed by the late Tony Scott in the middle of his 'warm orange' period (Top Gun to Days of Thunder 😅). I really enjoy the chemistry between the leads in 2, as well as the villains. Brigitte Nielsen in particular I find very interesting, especially her black/white color scheme. I also love the glimpse into Billy's life and Taggart reactions to Billy's nonsense 🤣🤣🤣
I’m no doctor though I played one on TV, but I don’t recommend taking a kickboxing class (despite it being the sport of the future) during the third trimester.

My first clear memory & time "I" began was my 4th birthday, July of '75. Just so happens October 11th of said year debuted the original & GOAT Saturday Night Live. John Belushi was The Man!!! So when several yrs later they up & changed the entire cast/show for the first time, we were devastated! And many like myself were about to turn off "SNL" forever UNTIL a young 18 yro Eddie Murphy took the mantle & blew us away! So is a bit frustrating to see damn near everybody gloss over his big screen debut & arguably his best roles in "48 Hours" & it's sequel. Loved that, & Trading Places was good, but by the time he came out with this it was so mediocre TO ME🤗💕 I don't remember anything about it! And Judge Reynhold was my boy from based on true story high school CLASSIC, "Fast Times At Ridgemont High". I'm glad many enjoy this, but was a reason he just faded away doing run of the mill flicks like this. But at least it's not Robot Cops, aye?!😅 Btw, I actually got to see Murphy at work when I lived in Miami when he shot "Holy Man" with Jeff Golblum. Another one of Murphy's I don't remember,..for a reason!😅 Just an old man gripe here! If this your Jam, is all that matters & more power to you! See ya! ✌️🌎❤️

I have good ones. I'm still stove up with this herniated disc (gonna get a steroid injection in it, but waiting for an opening) but my Mom is in the hospital. The drive down there isn't so bad, but the walk from the parking garage all the way through the hospital is brutal on my gimpy ass. I did it twice in the last week, but I've had friends take me four times and wheel me through the hospital in a wheelchair. The latter is better. (Mom's doing okay, but she's due for a pacemaker. They can't do that until they get all the fluid leeched out of her lungs from her congestive heart failure.)
That said, I'm laughing my hemorrhoidal ass off at Kevin's kickboxing hangover. I'd like to say _'dude, I feel your pain'_ but I haven't felt that pain in a long time. But I remember it. Gods yes, I remember it.

What Script Fact: Gilbert Gottfried stated he and Eddie Murphy improvised their dialogue after Axel brought up Sidney Bernstein's parking violations. That's Hot Fact: Brigitte Nielsen appears in the scene at the Playboy Mansion, this foreshadows her centerfold appearance in Playboy Magazine in December 1987. Director Tony Scott and Brigitte Nielsen reportedly had an affair during filming. Music Enthusiast Fact: In the scene where Taggart (John Ashton) and Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) enter Axel's (Eddie Murphy) "house" in Beverly Hills, Rosewood remarks to Taggart that maybe The Pointer Sisters live in the house. The Pointer Sisters performed the song "Neutron Dance" in Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and they also performed "Be There" for this movie. First Rock Fact: Chris Rock makes an appearance as the valet at the Playboy Mansion who complains about Axel bringing in a cement truck.
