Big approval and thumbs up from here in the UK. Might pinch a couple of ideas for my JCW. I like the pro corner splitters and the outer red bonnet stripes.
9:40 you do not have component speakers you have coaxial speakers unless you replaced the tweeters on the pillar coaxial means the Tweeter is flush mounted or just mounted in the middle of the speakers. component has the Tweeter separated like you would find in the most new vehicles.
6:22 How do you have them work with the normal beams? Or have them work on an independent separate switch? Because I installed mine at the dealer and they were super smart to wire them so that they ONLY work when the high beams are on. So, I either drive 24/7 with my high beams on or not have them on at all.
I modified the wiring harness and cut out the bits that took signal from the high beams. What remained was just one relay with incoming power that went to a simple on/off switch on the dash that activated the lights.

Right, I ordered the rear diffuser for my car and once it arrived I had it painted in that area specifically. If you want to have the same thing done, just show whoever you take it to what you want and they should be able to mask the area off and only paint the center section.
@Collin, did you have to modify anything on the Rockford Fosgate T142 Power 4" to get them to fit? I had someone try to install them in the back and then the front, but they said the magnets were too big.
I did have to trim a bit of the speaker’s mounting bracket to get it to slide into the hole in the door panel, but I used the factory speaker bracket to mount them so the magnet clearance wasn’t an issue. If you want to send me a DM on Instagram I can send you a pic of what mine looked like.
That headlight highbeam "rig" is pretty douchey. it's not about people telling you what to do it's about dazzling other drivers. But hey, you do you, if that's all that matters.
This wasn’t something I was using with other people around, I get what you’re saying. And I hate when people drive with their brights on in the city. At the time those lights were something I was using for interstate driving at night when there really was no one else around. They were super bright and focused enough that they lit my lane ahead of me without lighting up oncoming traffic to my left.
cool just looking for ideas I have an old 07 mini a with the turbo already swapped ..its fast af..need to get the head walnut blasted they dont tell u how much those direct injection cars will carbon up on the valves....I would suggest an oil catch can if u dont already have one
Oh yeah, the second gens are really bad about that. Have you had it tuned after the turbo? My favorite power mod I’ve done has been the meth injection. Lots of cooling, lots of timing, lots of torque.

I’ve seen a more functional rear diffuser installed here on TH-cam. Especially if you have a straight exhaust installed !

I used super thin 3m double sided tape. I considered spray adhesive but decided tape would be reversible.

so u riced it out....what about motor mods....bigger turbo? down pipe? switch for diverter to a actual blow off valve? nothing????
