Hey man, I’m new into this business as well, just wanted to let you know there’s capillary film. It replaces emulsion. Huge leg up. Exact same thickness every time. Also if you wet your image after exposure and let it soak for 2 minutes then wash it out you can avoid any blow outs
I just started screen printing and watched several videos. Yours was a good one bro! Helpful and creative solutions on your wash tub and your techniques on the whole process. Thanks for posting this video. -David in Las Vegas
Can you make a quick video of you cleaning the washout bin water? so we can see the appropriate process, or at least list items needed in video description? Thanks
Do you wash with cold or warm water? What lamp do you use for lighting, how long do you light it and what’s the distance between the lamp and the screen?
Such a helpful video, me and my friend have just set up our own business having some serious teething issues with burning the image, we literally spent all day today burning and washing out screens. Thanks for the video it was really helpful 👍
Awesome video! Just starting out also. It’s Inspiring to know the you can still get quality and the job done without expensive equipment starting out. I love your progress. Keep up the great work and videos. Be blessed and keep pressing!!!
Great job Sir! Save up your money and buy Made in the USA 6 color printer. Also, invest on Pantone Mixing system booklet where you can customize your colors. You don't have to buy every color.
Think I asked in a previous video... I was interested in purchasing this press...do you have a video on multiple colors on this press and if not what is your take on this press.
Hey, man thanks. a lot for all the step-by-step processes, it is very helpful. Say, does room temperature matters when storing screen between coating and burning?
Hey man, I’m new into this business as well, just wanted to let you know there’s capillary film. It replaces emulsion. Huge leg up. Exact same thickness every time.
Hey! I was washing out my burned image and it was coming nice but pieces of the emulsion actually came off with it. The pressure washer was pretty strong so maybe that did it. Is this normal or related to exposure time? If not I assume it’s the pressure washer but just found it weird bc I struggled to get my emulsion off of other screens with this pressure washer
Alright so I’m brand new ! So burning isn’t permanent correct?! So we don’t need the ones that aren’t burned permanently? If I would like to switch designs
I keep having a issue when I let my screen dry after applying emulsion I leave in the garage blinds closed under a table in a open box and let it dry for a couple hours go and try to burn and nothing try rinse off but noting rinsed all hard did about 6 screens all bad nothing burned onto the screen when I tried or rinsed off I don’t get it
Nice vid, man. You said you have a certain light you turn on when the coated screens are out... what kind of light bulb do you use? I'm confused. Thanks!
If the streaks are the slimy, the emulsion is underexposed. Save the energy and wear on your flash unit by using a vacuum to quick dry an exposed screen. Works just as well without the potential of scorching the mesh and will make reclaiming a screen much easier.

So you need a different screen for every graphic "stencil"? what if you were just doing 2 shirts only? Would you be able to reuse the screen to burn another by putting more emulsion on it? Seems like it would be way too expensive to do it this way unless you had like 100 shirts to do with the screen you just spent so much time on setting up....Im confused lol ....To me it seems like just cutting a vinyl stencil would be way easier...I know I'm missing the point so hopefully you can explain because I cant find the reasons for doing it this way anywhere. I bought some screens and ink ect and vinyl but this is confusing me lol
For screen printing I have a minimum of 15 shirts. I wouldn't do 2 shirts. When im done with a job i take off the emulsion and get ready to use it for another job.
I keep having my emulsion blowing out using the same type of hose and sprayer. I'm using 110 screen and burning 12 minutes at 20 inches to a 250 bulb. I can't figure out why the emulsion keeps bubbling up. I noticed you washout on both sides, others say not to do much on the back side. Ideas?

Can someone help me!!! I coat my screen/let it dry.. put my design under a work lamp then when I go to wash it out.. the emulsion comes right off!! I let my coat dry for hours just to make sure its dry when I know it only needs around 40 minutes.. I print my design and put it on the back of the screen flipped for 30 minutes under the work lamp which I bought at lowes recently and when I go to wash it(I wash with care and low pressure) the emulsion starts coming off and no design is shown.. I use speedball screens that you get at Michael's and other craft stores with the speedball emulsion.. I also put a black background underneath so the design gets exposed... what am I doing wrong???? someone help please.. I've watched plenty of videos on this and I cant seem to figure it out
you can coat screens under regular florescent lighting you do not need a special yellow bulb that has been my experience even out side under an awning but washing them out out suide is not recommended LOL
