    This is the first time I heard someone talk about the residue that is left in the open area of the stencil...I really needed that tip at the end..thanks.

    I used to have issues with the water streaks pouring into the design, I realized that the mistake was in drying the screens on their sides. I made the adjustment and started drying the screens flat on the ground, what I do is, I use 4 small containers, and I put the screen on them raising the screen above ground and I put the fan next to them. The excess water pours down off the screen instead of streaking down like it would when dried on their sides. Hope this helps.

      It's likely the screen wasn't fully cured, or under exposed. That residue he is talking about is emulsion that ran into the stencil. After drying the screen hold it up to a light and move it around , if you see some shiny (greasy?) looking spots in your stencil than you need to wash those out somehow .

    Awesome video. I just recently bought some ink remover and Emulsion remover, a big improvement from my old diy style using gasoline and bleach. But since it was my first time, using these chemicals, I still need more practice. I definitely need some good scrubs, as well, a dehazer.

    Where do you buy the 2 in 1 dehazer/degreaser ?

  • @freedomlifestyle3842
    @freedomlifestyle3842 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I buy my supplies from ECOTEX on Amazon as well.
    I use their LED Emulsion because it cures in 20 seconds and holds up to water based inks.
    A dehumidifier in your screen drying area will dry them out 100% in no time. And I mean DRY!!!
    Hot water clears the design out in 10 seconds. No need for the pressure washer anymore.
    After washing out the design, lay them flat, so that the emulsion does not run into the design. Pro tip, back to the dehumidifier to dry out faster. . .
    Hot water tanks are cheap and easy to install inline to your booth.
    Dehumidifiers are on sale. It's winter.

    Hey bud ! Another great and helpful video . Question for you , I am looking at an 8 color press but its not top top quality in fact its a Chinese brand . Its looks like its well built and I dont have a lot of money to buy a high end ! Should I go for it ? Or not waste my money ? Its the ASC365 product # 219009 . I'd love your opinion on it please :) Thankyou !

    • @tainoink
      @tainoink  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's best to get yourself a good press. A lot of people get into screen printing and because they pick up a low quality press they find it hard and quit and the reason is that they didn't get a good quality press. A good quality press will make your learning much easier. Do more research on that ASC365. Thank you.

    • @tainoink

      Make sure is an inkjet printer and it could print large format like 13x19 film. My advice check on Ebay. Seen a lot of good deals on inkjet printers.
