Mylo, I have been watching TH-cam videos about screen printing for years. I just wanted to say that i have never 1 time left a comment on any video ever on TH-cam. Ireally felt compelled to do so for you and your videos because in all the hundreds of hours i have spent watching videos on this subject i have never came across any that come across with quite the passion that you put out in your videos. It is very apparent you genuinely care about and rea)y enjoy helping people achieve something that is very hard to master. I think as an artist and creator your top shelf. More importantly as a teacher and a person you are most definitely one of the good ones. Keep doing what you do and thank you. With great respect and admiration for you sir.

    nice video!
Soon im also starting again with screenprinting and i remember my exposure time used to be around 9 minutes with my DIY setup.
My next setups will have a DIY exposure unit/box below the table where i will setup my screenprint press.

you could also use a garden hose and a particular spay hose attachment that applies more pressure. I find the contact with the film to emulsion being more worrying without a vacuum exposure unit. I print my transparencies with a black and white laser printer. they work fine. Copy toner is pretty opaque. Good Demo. Thanks for the facebook tip.

Do you add a photo hardener after? Also, is the emulsion getting softer every time washing it to clean it after using it from inks without a photo hardener?

Man.... One of those small pump up sprayers from Lowe's.... Works wonders. U can also fill it with warm water. U can also adjust the tip from a spray to a fine stream. I paid $10 bucks for mine. Works great for fine halftones. Other than that excellent info.
