Brilliant Top 10 there Pedro 😀🍿🎸🎶 Only watched ‘Starship Troopers’ for the first time few month back and it is so much fun 😀 ‘The Time Machine’ is really great indeed mate; love ‘Time After Time’ aswell 🤩 ‘Robocop’ is an all time classic 😎 Love ST: ‘The Voyage Home’; I just watched ST: ‘Insurrection’; it’s pretty bad; but pretty fun at same time; wish me luck with ‘Nemesis’ 😂🤣 Adore the original Star Wars trilogy 🙌
man well done for even trying to narrowing it down to ten movies/12, not sure i could love all these movies, i so love starship troopers what a blast and robocop, just watched close encounters again last weekend stunning, the only one that i might have to take another look is mission to mars been a while, forbidden planet and the time machine are still stunning today, my favourite star trek movie is six, remember seeing at the cinema and it looking amazing, cheers pedro
Morning Pedro I really enjoyed your list. I nearly went for Starship Troopers on my list too. Such a great film that like you,I could watch over and over. I always enjoy your m knowledge and thanks for the shout out 👍
Great video mate. I love the little bit on Robocop when you said the only problem is the long arms with no explanation further because everyone knows the scene if you've seen the movie haha
Love sci fi movies great list mate 👍🏻 I might have to do my top ten favourite sci fi movies list 👍🏻 my childhood favourite also is the time machine just beautiful 😍 and that score 🎼🎶,
Sci-fi seems to be the genre where our tastes overlap the most. Typically I haven't even heard about the movies you talk about, but this time I was aware of all the movies you mentioned and even own five of them on Blu-ray (Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Robocop, Flash Gordon, The Last Starfighter and of course The Empire Strikes Back). I have seen Independence Day on TV back in the 90's, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I have seen parts of Starship Troopers on TV, but I didn't like much what I saw. Unfortunately I have not seen Forbidden Planet, The Time Machine or Mission to Mars.
I'd have Bladerunner, Total Recall, Flight of the Navigator, The Fifth Element, the recent Dune movies, Terminator 1 & 2 in my list along with some you listed.
Logan's Run, The Black Hole, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Tron, Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Invasion of the Body Snatchers(1978), Colossus: The Forbin Project, Forbidden Planet.
10. Quatermass and the Pit 9. Starship Troopers 8. Minority Report 7. Robocop 6. Forbidden Planet 5. Mad Max 2 4. Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind 3. Star Wars 2. Terminator 2 1. Aliens
Totally agree with your assessment of ‘Mission to Mars’. Highly underrated Brian de Palma film! 👍🏻
It really is. I don't know why it got so much hate.
Great list! Seen most of them. So fun to think of these.

It’s hard to pick a favorite Williams score since they are all great. To me the score for Superman the Movie is the best and most iconic
I love the score for Superman. You are right though, it very hard to choose a favourite
