  • I've enjoyed sharing my family trips with you all in a variety of aircraft. This time we're back in the Cirrus SR22, just me and my beautiful wife, Melissa, returning to a very memorable getaway for us, Lajitas Golf Resort in West Texas: www.lajitasgolfresort.com/ .
    On our way out, we met a fellow Cirrus pilot that started this incredibly unique glamping (in cave) experience. You really have to see it for yourself: www.summitbigbend.com/ As we were departing at the same time, great opportunity for a little formation fun! I think
    I nailed the "breakaway," but I don't think Melissa was too impressed...

    History of the Cirrus SR Series
    The Cirrus SR series is a single-engine four / five seat composite aircraft built from 1999 -
    Present by Cirrus Aircraft. The initial launch of the Cirrus SR20 a few years prior, gave way to the more powerful 310 horsepower iteration, the SR22 (and ultimately the SR22T).
    The SR22 series has been the world's best-selling GA airplane every year since 2003. With over 9,000 units delivered worldwide, Cirrus is the best-selling aircraft of the 21st century! The Cirrus SR22 is equipped with a whole-plane emergency recovery parachute system: the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), largely contributing to its market success (and in my case, spousal approval).
    Thank you so much for watching my video. Please like, share, and reach out to me if you have any comments or suggestions. Also, I'm a full time aircraft broker in the Cirrus, PA46, and TBM space. I'd love to help you in your aviation adventures. - Jesse

    As an inspiring pilot who is on the southern border of Texas I am glad I bumped into your channel. Your videos excite me to finish flight school and fly around Texas. I look forward to watching your future videos.

      Thanks for checking this out. Yes, finish flight school; no one has ever regretted it!

      I am located in Laredo.
      Should clarify that I am in ground school (online) at the moment. After I pass my knowledge test I hope to book 2-3 weeks of flight school in the San Antonio area since aviation in my city is a bit lackluster.

      @@LookingforHigher - I’m still in the process of learning to fly but out of all the aircraft I’ve looked at cirrus is by far the best. It may be a little bit of time before I get some thing, but I just found your channel so I will follow your journey and see what comes to be.

    Nice video.
    Just to let you know: 1st they don't cross that mountainous terrain, 2nd they ride buses paid for by organizations for these people to get through Mexico to the US border. We've talked to 100s of them who have confirmed that to be true.

    • @LookingforHigher
      @LookingforHigher  ปีที่แล้ว

      Makes sense. I bet 99% are crossing in a commercialized fashion. Without a doubt, many are subjecting themselves/their families to some treacherous conditions to get here. As I have no authority or credible knowledge in the topic of immigration, I’ll leave it with that.
      THANKS for checking out my video!!

    We are country of immigrants. We all came here seeking Political Asylum, a better life and opportunity for our children. People that immigrate here today are no different. Not to mention our economy can’t function without the help of additional labor. Florida is about to find that out the hard way. Thank you for drawing attention the conditions that people endure just to come here. They are escaping extreme poverty, violence and oppression and risking their lives just to do so.
