    I love the analogy of coming home to your pencil pouch, I know the feeling! I’m a musician and teacher, so I’ve tried many work bags for music, pencils, batons, etc. Putting things back in my favorites is like coming home every time!😆

    2:04 What is that?? I need one!!! That's the cutest tiny palette I've ever seen!!!! (Look, I normally don't go quite this crazy with the exclamation marks, but !!!)
    Also: nothing quite beats Lihit Lab pen cases tbh. There are som neat Kokuyo ones too (their "bag in bag" series are great for larger cases that'll fit sketchbooks), but I haven't found a lot (or any, really) of fancy-feeling leather options that have that same epic level of functionality.

    • @LeslieStroz

      Do you mean the metal palette? I thrifted that one! It doesn’t have a manufacturer name on it (only “made in England”). I think it’s an old, cheap student set. The original paints were unusable. I made a video about the up cycling process. 😊

      @FaerieDust ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @rebecca hesser I did some googling and found an old blog post where someone has the same palette, they say it's an old Winsor & Newton scholastic one! I suspect it'll be even harder to find than their old bijou boxes lol 😅

    I mean if you have something you know works then just stick with it. The pencil case looks perfect for your needs and is in nice condition so why replace it. ( lmao sorry, I'm from India and we use things till it can't be used anymore so I'm just weirded out 😂 also if you want to stretch out the pencil holder than keep some pencil and pens you don't use frequently and throw it in a corner for a month)

    • @LeslieStroz
      @LeslieStroz  ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I hear you. I knew that I could use the pencil wrap for my pens, or give it to a relative if I really didn’t want it. I do love my pencil case, but liked the idea of having everything available without having to flip to a different layer. In reality, the pencil wrap will be better for just pencils! 😊

    I have bought quite a lot of organizer bags that may be useful for watercolor, but none felt good (there's one that's suppose to be flat and adding a wc case will bulk it up uncomfortably and another one has only 3 pencil Slots which is sad). Closest to comfort is my Mead pencil bag and I'm still searching for the perfect one...

    Pencil wraps do have a nice concept and design, but they’re really not too practical for travel or plein air painting. I used to use one and everything kept on falling out. It was really annoying, plain pencil cases or even just keeping your things in a pen cup are much better ways to keep your art supplies organised than putting them in a pencil wrap.

    The color of the leather one is incredible,and it looks very qualitative but not enough "foldable" (and not washable) for the outside painting..🤷‍♀️😁...I think. But truly it's nice.
