    @mrsadavidson I actually found that one at TJ Maxx. I collect coffee mugs, cause I'm an addict too, and that's my favorite place to look for them :)

    @kayleymelissa  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @glamblizz My hair isn't very thick. When I deal with thick hair, I try to create a net of bobby pins in the hair by crisscrossing bobby pins inside the bun. you may need to use four or five where I used 2, but you still ought to be able to get that hair up :).

  • @kayleymelissa

    @droomprinsesje1234 Check the description box. This wasn't sponsored by any means, but it was for a contest with conair which meant I had to use and display their products. :)

    @kayleymelissa  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @polocub1429 Yeah, I actually just got my hair cut with a bunch of layers, so now you'll be able to see me work with them and maybe it'll help.

  • @kayleymelissa
    @kayleymelissa  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @xsarahxmx123x :) Thanks! Yeah, smaller ponies and buns would help with thick hair. As long as you can get your hair into buns you can do it :)

    Check the description box for the ftc. This is most definitely not sponsored, but it is for a contest with conair so I had to make it with the products of theirs that I use and like :). Don't worry if I will never hide anything from you guys!

    @gabicks Yep, as long as it's long enough to twist into a bun (even if it's a tiny bun) you can do it :).

    This is absolutely perfect. I spend twenty minutes in front of my mirror every day wondering what I should do with my hair, and despite all that time I spend thinking about my hair, I usually leave looking like rubbish anyway. I cannot believe how simple this is, this is definitely how I'll be doing my hair on mornings where I have nothing ready. You are my hero, thank you! x

    Dont worry, you can still create this look without a curler. You can do this with straight hair...she only curled to give the hair some texture. You could always just back comb straight hair to give you the volume & looseness on top and then repeat the back buns exactly the same. Or, if you do want a bit of a wave (but dont have a curler) just lightly scrunch your hair root to tip using strong hold hair spray or hair mousse and wallah...you will have loose waves to work with. Hope this helps :)

    I HAVE actually seen you leave a mean comment on a video, it was the trailer for "Bully". Everyone has their own opinion in music and you should keep you're to yourself. And I am not crazed, nor a Directioner, but I believe that those guys are people, and have feelings. And I am not asking you to care, because I don't. "none of it does matter" ?? Learn your grammar and I'm not the 21 year old here, so shouldn't YOU be more mature? And I have a life, how else do you think I'm alive right now. Duh

  • @vanessa2949
    @vanessa2949 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Get your facts straight means to make sure your information is accurate. And I have actually seen you leave a mean comment, I do not remember which video though. I never ASKED to apologize*. And why would you need to make fun of 5 guys you have never even met, and you DID call them gays. And considering the fact that we are having this conversation, yes, your maturity is part of my concern, and I don't care if you say good day or not, cause non of that really matters.

    I absolutely love this hairstyle, kinda wish I would've done this for my own wedding (I had a super vintage dress). But I will be doing this in the future for sure. This look is so chic it reminds me of the French in a way. Polished simple style that's easy. Also thanks for showing how you're using the hot rollers and for the reccomendation too. BTW your makeup looks so nice with this, completes the look. Awesome vid.

    OK now that was WAY Cute and Way to easy! Unbelievable! I've watched a ton of these vids but yet to find one so simple! I have really long but very fine hair so getting bobby pins or hair pins to hold is so hard so I love the little ponies that means a lot less work for the pins to do and maybe just maybe it will actually hold! It looks just as cute as the others too and I am actually excited to give it a try! AWESOME! Thanks! :)

  • @chairgirl22

    i've never commented on youtube before but i HAD to tell you how wonderful your video is! i've been watching a LOT of hair tutorials (trying to figure out how to do my hair for a work party) & {i have to say} your tutorials are by far the best i've seen. You use plain english (instead of technical hairdresser jargon) & keep it clear & simple. AND it's a big bonus that you don't use hair extensions. It's nice to know that hairpieces aren't required to create amazing hairdos. THAAANK YOOOOU! ^_^

    I have very straight hair like she does and I understand why she curls it. My hair stops at my rib cage and even though it's straight and long, it doesn't like to stay in buns because my layers pop out everywhere. When I curl my hair and then wrap it into a bun I've noticed it looks much neater and stays in place longer.

  • @blossom1153

    I tell ya what....I enjoy your videos so much-so many girls make such lousy videos and they spend 10 minutes at the begining showing their dog and commenting on their room...my goodness! I watch tutitorials to learn a new hair-doo, not to learn how much sleep some gal has had last night or if she has drank enough water that day!!!! I mean REALLY!!!!

  • @hnelson310

    A quick and easy trick my mom taught me for rolling your hair in curlers: flip your head upside down and put it in a loose pony tail on top of your head. If you don't have really thick hair, you can just seperate your hair into four or five sections and roll and secure the rollers. I used the time while my hair was in the rollers to do my make-up.

  • @osteoandree
    @osteoandree 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    I used to do something similar when I had longer hair. Since I had layers I would do a twist on either side of my part which would help catch all those little bits of hair.
    I LOVE those Conair bobbe pins! Any other kind I've tried gets bent and twisted after one or two uses. Good luck with the contest!

  • @vanessa2949

    I am not being serious, I was correcting your mistakes so that when you try to that again you wouldn't look dumb. And what's with the name calling? What are you 12? And if you are 12 then you should not even be on the internet because the minimum age for a youtube account it 13. Have a good day ":)"

  • @MollieGreen11

    I really like this style but wouldn't it look exactly the same with straight hair as with curly hair?? Like when its in the little buns? Cos I have really straight hair and I don't wanna waste time curling my hair if it will look the same anyway :L suppose I'll just have to try it and see

  • @Natznatzification

    it looks so nice, and you're so cute~! ^^ but you know, i have one problem... my hair is naturally curly and it's tends to be very puffy, that's why i use tons of hair moisturiser... if i try drying my hair like you did, i will probably end up with an afro... ugh :(

    @ChocolateKibbles23 I don't think it'd look too bad. To be honest it doesn't look like you can really tell if the hair is straight or wavy once it's wrapped in the buns. My hair is so so pin straight so I see where you're coming from not wanting to do the curlers then have your hair fall in 3 minutes.

    Probably, but you'd want to be pretty skilled. I'd imagne the buns wouldn't sit as close to the scalp. Personally, I'd do them with haibands, then pull them out a bit and pin them down, rather than curling my hair and using only bobby pins. :)

  • @SoraAoi95
    @SoraAoi95 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Really? That's odd. Mine is the same length, and it worked just fine. I do have a lot of layers though because my hair is really thick. The hairstyle turned out great on me. Granted, I had to use a million bobby-pins, but it worked. :)

  • @BabyScarecrow
    @BabyScarecrow 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @crazyclass I usually do a couple of braids when my hair is wet aftr washing it, but the waves come out so quick in my hair. Theese heathrollers don't look that dangerous to the hair - a curling iron will easily leave your hair dry and frissy :(

  • @alyakwhit
    @alyakwhit 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    spray the section you want to curl with hairspray before you curl it, curl it while its wet, and it sizzles on the iron. Its bad for your hair, but it will stay. My hair only works if I do it like that.
