But yes the story telling and honesty in these videos are completely different and I love it.

i actually went from 67kg to 78kg in like 4 months and didnt even notice it and stretch marks started appearing on both of my biceps but i didnt really know what did they mean and i was eating every thing that comes on my way without even thinking and my pushups pullups numbers went drastically down and calisthenics skills i used to be able to do is no longer thank you joe for motivating me to get back and start working my ass off again . keep doing what you do you are an inspiration man.

Honestly when I tried my first dirty bulk where I was eating pizza and sweet food on a regular I felt so crap and my mood became depressed which goes to show how important it is to eat mostly clean food for a healthy body AND mind.
And you don’t have to eliminate less healthy stuff entirely; just make sure to practice moderation 👌 Another thing is that your clean diet should also taste good and be properly cooked so eating is more fun and feels less like a chore
I rewatch this fairly often to motivate me on my bulk to regain the 24 lbs of muscle I lost to severe illness. 21 lbs back up in just over 3 months. Edit: regained all the muscle and added an extra pound, and I've been rewarded with a new stretch mark.

i did, i used to weight about 50kgs, i bulked through 80kgs in just a year and just went for a cut, now i'm lean again, dirty bulking doesn't affect you too much depending on how many salt/sugar intake you're getting daily, only calories matter.

Been there! In all fairness, you still looked great after those 2 weeks. A lot of it is just glyco depletion and a loss of water. Also, your muscles do appear 'smaller / flatter' when not in a consistent state of use - they're just primed for anything when inactive. The rest is psychological. Put all these together, and it's easy to think you've lost muscle mass (when in fact you really haven't).
I'm 15 yo and im soon gonna do my GCSE's but when i watch your vids it motivates me to keep going and workout aswell as work as hard as I can. Keep it up bro
Hey Joe, I had the same issue when I was on that medication... the dry lips are really painful side affect of accutane. This is the best stuff for when you are on this medication, honestly a miracle remedy- Elizabeth Arden 8hr intensive lip repair balm. Expensive per quantity but a genuine lifesaver that was recommened by my doctor. Stay safe mate!
I feel you very much in this situation. Since I started my apprenticeship, I find it very difficult to get my calories in (work in a daycare where you can not just eat something). Was on about 70kg and then suddenly I was very sick a few months ago and this did not go away until today. Have now a gastroscopy and hope one finds raud what is going on. Also lost the motivation for the GYM because why go to the GYM if I anyway do not have the strength and energy to do so and eat too little. Now currently at 63kg. Hope the doctors find out what and I can start again with eating and training ...
