    That’s a cool build but I think it would have been more reasonable if you swapped the Cummins into a unreliable 6.0 or 6.4 liter truck. The 7.3 is just as reliable as the 24v in my opinion.

    Wait...So you can just swap to a GV style head on the compressor and the AC lines will just bolt on? Theres no need to have new ends lines made?

    Just pulled off my 2000 v10 super duty cab, have a fist gen 5.9 to install interested in the Hi mount kit and inter cooling plumbing can you point me in the right direction for sources . Like the video

    I'm looking into doing this to my 2001 Ford f250 5.4 triton is there a kit to make this easier or all custom fab work ?

      Diesel Conversion Specialists has a kit. Don't forget to beef up your front coils Diesel ways 400 pounds more than 5.4

    How do you like the fit/accessibility of the Cummins in the SD chassis as opposed to the GMT400 chassis? I had an 05 F350 prior to buying my 98 K3500 and had determined that fitting a 5.9 in the SD engine bay would be a heck of a lot tighter than in a different platform. The SD is a great, strong platform and the cabs are nice and roomy but they really shoehorn the engines in there.

      There is a lot more room around the Cummins in the SuperDuty than there was around the 7.3L Powerstroke. I would never try one of these swaps without removing the cab. With that said the Cummins fits great in the SuperDuty chassis. One of the pros of the Ford Cummins swaps is that you already have an intercooler which is a challenge in the GMT400 platforms.
