A465 Dualling REAL-TIME DRIVING Dowlais Top to Hirwaun, West * Late May 24. UK Road Construction.

Westbound..Beginning in ASDA car park overlooking Dowlais Top Grade separated junction.
......... Fabulous Weather and an Elevated camera angle couldn't be resisted.
Around the 2nd roundabout on the A470 and also along the Aberdare exit.
The existing A465 viaduct demolition seems to have begun too.
The new northern viaduct at Cefn Coed seems to be tarmaced and exit off the new A470 roundabout in place.

Yes, they have shifted mountains! and I am sure it will be a great road, but, the previous 365 was a fine road, I don't think it was heavily used? not sure if there jams on it, this new dualling seems over the top somehow? I am not negative about it, as I said it will be fab to drive on, I think it is supposed to finish 2025, but this last bit, seems a long way away from finishing next year, one thing I have not been cought up in its jams at all, thank god, but I will look forward to its completion, in 2 years.

Its one of those ....only time will tell...if it is more than needed.....With the high local populations countered against the awful neath jams that will occur it may be just OK!!!
