Found everything pretty much accurate except for the butt wiping, haven't had to do that with either of my two Frenchies. The farting isn't bad if you find a diet that is of high quality and you stay away from treats. Super loyal, loving and a very sensitive breed.
The butt wiping finished when we changed to a better food 😁

That’s hilarious!!!! We have a Yorkie that is so similar. She’s brazen when it comes to food. She will even challenge her two big sisters for their food. She will inhale hers and then her little 5 pound self will try to take her 40 pound sisters food!!! She farts, steals toys from the other dogs, and totally freaks out over doorbells and car doors closing. If she hears the word ice cream, she will leap from her throne and fly into the kitchen!! 😂 We love her little quirky self and wouldn’t trade her for the world!!

We had our sons five month old stay with us for a week...wow that dog was able to outfart my husband easily!! It was especially fun in the car when we had to take him on a 40 mile trip to the vets to get his Jab
Frenchies for the most part are couch potatoes or low energy but then some times you get one that’s hyper you got the hyper. In a way that’s good, you won’t have to worry about his weight.

The farts are dependent on diet- once I figured that out no more deadly farts. The rest is all true ❤️🐾
Their diet needs may change as they age. Be cautious of human food you might give them. best not to even do that.
Do you believe in feeding dog's raw meat ?
@@sweetlulubean1118 Never. Uncooked meat is much harder to digest and may carry many more undesirable micro organisms. If you love your dog enough to give them meat (beef), cook it with out any sauce or marinade to a point that there is no red left in the meat. Stick with lean cuts. Remove all bones.
Actually, raw meat is fine for them. Their stomachs are completely different from us, they would have to eat a couple whole raw chickens for them to get sick. And they should eat raw uncooked bones because it has good nutrients and raw bones don't splinter so there isn't a risk when they eat them.
@@AndyPMusic No it is not. They are not wild animals. If you want your dog to live a healthy, long life, cook their food (at least the meat portion). Don't over cook it but never raw. Never give your dog anything you wouldn't eat and many things you might. No Sushi. No raw meat of any kind and Never any chicken bones or uncooked chicken. No beef or pork rib bones at all ever. Don't play dice with your dogs health.

To be honest some of the problems you can solve them with good food. They are a great breed but you need to find a good breeder that has healthy dogs to not have problems in the future 👍🏻

I've had a Frenchie for 10 years. All true. They are like humans. Amazing companions. Shower them with love, and they will return it and more. FYI .... very good food helps with the farts.

My baby girl doesn't fart almost at all. I feed her Fromm (?) try it? Also she's a free eater so no over eating here. But the apple bit! Funniest part and soooo true! Watermelon is also a big time favourite :)

O my god this is so true. I hav just got a french bulldog puppy, I've had it 6weeks she is 14weeks and this is all true, no room is private. She goes everywhere.. but they are happy dogs with every1. It is like hav a baby.. but they are worth it all that what I will say. Also she eats everything that is and isn't edible it's all the same to her.

16.5 years later I still say they are worth it all!!! 1x lived to age 16 and the other is 16.5 and still makes me smile, everyday.
1 thing I would like to ask. Does all French bulldog go mad running around play with everything like a madman b4 they go hav a poo about 20min after then curls up to sleep straight after the poo wipe bum then she goes to bed for a power nap and wondered if this was same for most french bulldogs. Lol🤣

The dog's dad is hilarious. My Frenchie turns 1 in a week. He does EXACTLY everything you said. He can be sound asleep in next room and when he hears me get cheese (only cheese) out of the frig, he comes running. He is incredibly stubborn on a leash. Even during COVID, he always wants attention so I must go to my office (that is closed) to get any work done on the computer. And forget having a Zoom video conference. He insists on being notice (I have to put him on his lap; everyone fawns over him, then he's happy).
The same here. If I'm working he is right here next to me. If I close the door he will cry until he is able to be next to me. They such a fun dog 😍😂

I loved this video - my daughter has a frenchie called Lara and the butt-wiping thing, so true! I think it’s because they can’t reach their own butt to clean it. I’ve watched Lara spin in circles trying to reach hers, on many occasions, hilarious. And the begging eyes! You two are talented, and a lovely family. I have an am-staff/frenchie mix, I add a tablespoon of cottage cheese to her food once a day. It stopped the gas/farts/runny poop.
We changed the food and we are really happy now with the results

Regarding the farts, you should try with grain free foods. Their stomach is not used to grains. In the nature wolf never eats grains. My Frenchie is much better now since I started feed him with food for little predators 😁
@Yuck Foutube test for food intolerances. Sometimes the dog is allergic to certain foods. And sometimes if your Frenchie is a fast eater, because of the short snore they swallow a lot of air with food. That could be another reason for farting

I rescued my French bulldog 18months ago and she is quite deformed, her tongue is too long and sticks out all the time, everyone who see's her doesn't believe she's a pure french bulldog though everybody thinks she's cute. The having to wipe her butt I put down to neurological disorder, but watching this has made me realise it's normal for these dogs as is hearing food being eaten in another room!😁.
